Name him Eros and get him some buddies (a couple of guppies, maybe some small coridoras, shrimp, and snails.)

BUT THEN! As I was going through sites looking at what guppies I wanted, I came across this dumb looking absolutely adorable creature

And and I fell Mayes Hughes showing off pictures of his daughter in love with it instantly.

My first thought was 'well, if I could get it fresh water then I would just have too swap out the coris for the single sweet baby boi goby.'

But then I read that gobys can be fine nippers. Okay, that's not good. Then I read that bettas will just straight eat gobbies. Thas not good at all. But then other people say they live together for years just fine? Is that just a few flukes? Or am I just seeing the few bad stories when most never have issues?

Dear Tumblr,

Woke up today and he’s still alive! Last night I wet my finger and put some food on it, he actually jumped to try and get it. He’s also very social with me so I’m really happy about that. Crazy how a little fish can make you forget about your depression.

I do want to start talking more about Sidereal Astrology here so that’ll be coming soon. I might work on making a theme for this now that I’m using it consistently.

I’ve never had more fun drawing bettas than when I was drawing these guys! I wanted each to have their own unique expression and personality. As any betta parent will know, they have LOTS of personality. 😄

Fun Fact! The blue and white rosetail betta in this set is inspired by my betta, Chou! 💙
