Hey guys. I just wanted to post an update. Unfortunately ever since I moved out of my exs house and into a new house, I have been neglecting my fish and gecko due to a heavy depression and stress. I knew I wasn't taking care of them, and I felt bad about it. I had to make the heavy hearted decision to rehome them. I made sure to find the fish a really good home with someone who was slightly inexperienced, but she loves them as her own, and always reaches out to me for questions. We're going to keep in touch so I can get updates.
I wanted to also say that it's okay of you need to rehome your pets because you can't take care of them. It's the final act of love you can give them. They deserve the best that they can, and sometimes you can't provide it for them. It makes you sad and disappointed in yourself. It really does. But taking that burden off of your shoulders and assuring that, even though its not you giving it, they get the best care. It's always okay to rehome if you can't take care of them yourself.
