1. Tenjoh: I always love ships with this kind of unintended bond between the characters, their entanglement played by fate and destiny, enemies to lovers (tho this is quite debatable bc I 100% believe neither Tenma nor Johan ever saw each other as personal enemy), and the fact that they were the only ones who didn't realize just how obsessed they are for each other. I love how their stories weaved and the fact that they actually have many similarities to eo if we can see beyond the surface, the potential dynamics between them in a romantic relationship, the slow burn headcanons. I love how both of them defined eo in the stories, most ppl seem to only see that Tenma influenced Johan, that Tenma imprinted on Johan to that degree, that it was only Johan who was obsessed with Tenma when Tenma actually showed just how much Johan also influenced him and steered many of his actions. We heard this from the 1st time of their encounters as adult. I love how the things I've just mentioned can cause codependency between them. I love how both of them influenced eo be it better or worse and I can play with those dynamics in my head. I love how the tension between them is not just tangible through the screen and papers but basically can cut the air between them. I love how they are not a doomed ship, that Tenma forgave him and even the only one who showed effort to approach him and help with his trauma in the end. Anw, I can go on and on abt them so I'll stop here. Tldr, i always love a ship when seemingly they are the only ones in the world who can understand and put up w/ each other. They are both lonely and it showed, so pairing them up feels even better.

2. Medanika: This is very new babies of mine. Despite the Wayama universe has a much more popular ship, Medanika hooked me within 1 sec of reading their stories. I always love a traumatized uke where the seme is the only one trying to understand and heal it (the same goes for Tenjoh). I think out of any ships in WYM universe, Medanika has the deepest meaningful background stories betweem them and it feels very realistic. I love the way Medaka brings himself so carefree so the contrast to Nikaidou is divine. He's really a super and perfect seme in my bl-minded head. Plus they are so cute, pure, and fluffy.

3. Goyuu (Gojo x Yuji) JJK : I didn't start JJK shipping them, in fact it took quite a lot of time for me to warm up to this ship, bc I was back then still an anime-only and I could say, being an anime-only, I didn't understand the core essence of JJK. When I began to read the manga and as I began to understand more and more abt the true essence of JJK, I could not help myself but falling for these Teacher x Student duo. Their interactions and dynamics are soo heartwarming and pleasant to see. I love how it's so fcking blatant how Gojo favors Yuji out of his other students and even till the end of the manga, all I can see is them. For fanon territory, I love how we can play out from the most innocent, fluff, to the sexiest smut, to the freakiest dark show with them and it still feels right bc Gojo is such a layered and un-boring character with more hidden sides than what he let on on the surface that can be played with in many headcanons and dynamics w/o feeling too far-off canon or ooc. I love how Yuuji is built to be able to tolerate anything and has high endurance and the pure heart in his core so his contrast with Gojo fits very nicely for fanons.

4. Choita (Choso x Yuji) JJK: it's just no way for me not to ship them when Choso's profile canonically says his only interest is his younger brother 😭 I'm normally weirded out by fully-blood related ships so thank god they are not. Like I said, I love the ship when they seemed to only exist for eo and here there will be no Choso essentially in the story if there is no Yuji. Yuji literally dictated every single action and motivation for Choso right to the end of the story. Basically he only lived for Yuji. I love that kind of single-minded devotion. I love how Yuji just accepted someone who had just tried to kill him, w/o questions asked. They are both ready to die for eo and the bond between them was unmistaken. It's just impossible for me not to ship these two. And yep, another enemies to (brothers) lovers.

5. Sukuita (Sukuna x Yuji) JJK: again enemies to lovers, which is one of my timeless favorite tropes in a ship. At first, I like this ship bc of the perpetual tension between them. But the last volume till the ending of the JJK manga is what truly cemented me in shipping them. It really shed some light of how deep the bond between Sukuna and Yuji actually ran beyond the surface. I find some similarities between Tenjoh and Sukuita. Basically this ship is like the doomed version of Tenjoh and I like how Yuji forgave him in the end and even as far as saying only he could accept him and that even at the end it was quite strongly hinted that the one who taught Sukuna love is Yuji, thus Sukuna ended up choosing a better path for reincarnation. I really like this kind of bond bc of the potential for romantization and how they both developed to be a better and stronger version bc of each others' unintended influences.

6. Shuumina (Shuu x Minato) from Tsurune: This is one of the oldest babies of mine. It's similar to Medanika, except Shuu is much layered and darker than Medaka. He's my favorite character in the series and I love how gorgeous and princely he is, how shameless he is in obsessing over Minato and not even trying to hide it, also how demanding he is of Minato's attention.

7. Xiancheng (Wei Wuxian x Jiang Cheng from MDZS): this one is different from the rest bc this is a non-canon ship from the only BL series from this list of mine, that has canon BL couple involving one of the characters in this ship. Basically, again I love how these two showed a bond that is exclusive for each other. How they were so ready to die for eo, like they didn't even think twice before doing it bc it seemed it was natural for them, it showed just how much they cared and loved for eo. Unfortunately, bc this bl novel wasn't meant for them, this was another doomed ship and the author fcked their relationship up so bad in the end it left a very bitter taste in my mouth. I still like them bc of the potential. Sadly, this good ship belonged to a big fandom notorious for being toxic and ship wars so I steered clear from the fandom, but then again, all big fandoms are like that.
