swan's ring for Shushu, dude where do I even start? the fact that he placed it on her ring finger, the fact that it's what protects her when she's in the alternate reality... it's so tasty.

the concept of Hazel doing Shushu's hair, she thinks 'god I look just like the original novel' but everyone else's reaction reminds her just how much everyone has differed from their novel selves
I don't know if this is mentioned in the manhwa but the concept of Shushu and Isabel being friends or Isabel trying to befriend Shushu is so tasty. It's canon in both that Shushu is quite popular among female students and the concept if Hestia being jealous of Shushu's popularity is actually so tasty.
im so dumb, I just realized the reason Shushu had to save Cory was because she already saved everyone else from becoming their novel selves. Just from childhood, she had already saved Swan from becoming his novel self, she saved already Lyvnes after working for him, and she had just saved Hyee from becoming his novel self after his mother's passing.
I can't believe I just realized this 🥲
and of course she wasnt sure if she had to save Cory or swan because she lost her memories of him in childhood, Im genuinely stupid
they don't mention lyve as much in the manhwa as they do in the novel, some details like in the manhwa chapter 72, Cory is the one who says that the mood at the palace shifted but in the novel, Shushu finds that out from Lyve. When Cory talks about the two researching magic in the future, Lyve joins in about him and Shushu travelling the future--then Lee and Swan comes along, Lee even saying that because she'll focus on swordsmanship, he'll be number one.
When Shushu gets a boyfriend, Lyve isn't even shown in the manhwa except in when they ambush Shushu about Eric, but he gets a detailed chapter in the manhwa about being jealous and possessive.
This is so nitpicky, and obviously they just cut it out for reasons but I like, I don't know I give a fuck

I just read chapter 130 (?) of the novel, and Swan is so funny. 'Oh no, I can't use my magic to beat up Shushu's boyfriend, because I need this magic to heal her muscle aches, and to add sparkle of my drawings of her!'
Genuine freak, I love him.
finally got to read chapter 104, perhaps leeshu nation isn't dead yet 🫣 don't want to get my hopes up, but their dynamic has a special place in my heart
