The eldest daughter, Lihua, realized when her Mother fell ill that all other domains might take advantage of her poor health, and thus they needed to ensure they had strong allies to protect their lands. She sent out a few different offers to neighboring domains- and was VERY surprised when Flower Fruit Mountain showed an interest in an alliance and trading system between the two domains.

All the sisters are all very aware that they don't have the physical prowess to expand their lands and ensure security. Despite Chyou being their top fighter- legit don't fight this girl- they needed more than just her.

They know it would be best to marry rich and powerful. They are known for their beauty and many demons try to earn their favor and hands in marriage. So far all have been denied or just led on- the sisters are quite manipulative. Often gaining many things from suitors, and convincing and manipulating through flirtations.

Except for Chyou, who was far better a fighter than a charmer, despite having her Mother's beauty.

The sisters know they need to get married, but none are in a rush to. They are cold and calculated- but all very much like their Mother and secretly wish to find love. Even Chyou in a way.

Chyou is very distrustful of men when she is first introduced. This is due to issues with her Father. A man who does not support them in any way, yet for some reason, her Mother insists isn't as bad as she perceives him. (He is. he is that bad -_-)

He left their Mother to raise them all alone, showing up only when he needed something. She believes love like that is a weakness, and despite loving her Mother- she has a struggling relationship with her too for allowing this man to still come and go as he pleases.

One day, however, Lihua announced that Flower Fruit Mountain was sending their heir to discuss the terms of the alliance and trade system. This is a test for Haoyu in a way as well, as it will give him an insight into the deeper details of how to run their kingdom and keep their connections. Haoyu is nervous however- as he knows nothing about clothes. Or string. Or fabrics.

The sisters realized that Haoyu was a "Rich and powerful" candidate, and thought "Hah, he'll be eating out of their palm like every other male" As any guy they have encountered has fallen for their beauty at face value.

To them, they are often disappointed by the candidates that come to try and win their hearts, as it is clear they only see their beauty and want a trophy wife. There is some merit to it, as they often can gain power, supplies, and other things for free by batting their eyelashes.

Well, they all try their hand in flirting a little. To their surprise, Haoyu is not tempted by any means. He is respectful, polite, and honestly misses a lot of their flirting because he doesn't hear them XD He has no interest in them and is there to fulfill his duty/role to the best of his ability. This does surprise them- but is also kind of refreshing as the sister, especially the second oldest Zhihoa actually really enjoys the business side of things and discussing future avenues of sales and merchandise.

Chyou is actually the coldest of them all. She is the defender of the family and the muscle. She is the last person to even TRY to flirt with Haoyu.

In fact, she threatens him when she first sees him. This is to make her other sisters seem more favorable in hopes Haoyu falls for their tricks but also makes it clear he can't try anything while here.

Little did they all know that Haoyu fell quite smitten at their first encounter XD

Haoyu delays the finalizing of the alliance and trade system a lot- as he has to double-check with Xue to make sure they aren't getting tricked. This gives him many opportunities to see Chyou. The sisters quickly begin to tell he has an interest in her- as he does actually ask for her when he comes to visit. He doesn't do that with anyone else. They are more confused than anything but are so fascinated to see where this goes. So they often force Chyou to lead the discussion on the alliance.

As this also isn't normally her area of expertise, this has put negotiations at a snail's pace as she too has to double-check with her sisters often.

The more she spends time with Haoyu, the more she likes how... mellow in nature he is. Serene is soft-spoken. Preferring to listen than talk- but isn't afraid to stand for what he believes is right. He is also gentle with her youngest sibling- and all the spiderlings in the domain. Letting them play tricks on him.

She finds herself unable to look away. She tries to deny any attachment for a long time, so it is a bit of a slow burn between these two~ _____ THE SISTERS Oldest: Lihua (Dark blue) Head of the family and the decision-maker. Caregiver and the peacemaker. The most level-headed. Handles all the internal affairs of the domain. Often too busy to even humor suitors, despite being often the most sought-after. (31) Second daughter: Zhihao (Pink and Yellow) The businesswoman, the manipulator, the one to steal from you and make you think it was your idea. Always fights with Chyou. Handles all the finances of the domain. Becomes good friends with Xue, Shadowpeach's second youngest. (28) Third Daughter: Shui (Blue and white) The seamstress/weaver of the family. Her skills in the craft are unmatched. The love sick sister who is the most eager to get married. She supplies everything they sell within the domain. The sweetest of all the sisters. (25) Fourth Daughter: Chyou (Green) The fighter/defender of the family. Isn't concerned with appearances and will make it very clear how she views you. Does wish to travel the world. Always looking out beyond the domain. Fights often with Zhihao. Her Mother was an excellent fighter and weaver- she takes after her mother most in fighting. (22) Fifth Daughter: Lei (Red) The warden of the family. She is willing to play the part of "The bad guy" to those falling out of line in the domain to make her sisters seem nicer. Shui is often too soft-spoken to scold someone who did something wrong- Lei is not afraid to chew someone's ear off. Currently still finding her role in the family, but is quick to bark at anyone her sisters are too "polite" to tell off. (17) Youngest Daughter: Aihan (Yellow) Quite the troublemaker. Typically more in her spider form than her human form. She is around 6 and her only task at the moment is to grow and learn. She accompanies a different sister every day, learning from them in the many different fields. She shows a lot of potential in everything she do- a jack of all trades, and many suspects she is the closest to their Mother in overall skills and can't wait to see how she will be when she is older.
