This story focuses on Qi Xiaotian, the Monkey Prince, and young āhumanā orphan MK as the two try to reunite while also avoiding every third party force trying to use the two for their own personal gain.

This goes on for a long time, yet when Macaque feels the tether start to loosen, he panics and realizes- he doesn't want Wukong to let him go.

Hiding him with a glamor and instilling a misguided loyalty to the Jade Emperor. The Jade Emperor is insistent one of the twins must still die, but agrees to keep MK around, hoping to find a chance to kill the other twin instead and keep the loyal MK as his own bodyguard.

Summary: Another Taken Au. XiaoXiao and MK are born, but instead of MK being taken Xiaoxiao is instead. He would be Xiaohua in this one. Xiaohua, who is abandoned at an orphanage, winds up being taken in by the Spider Queen when he shows promise as a thief. -most may know this, but I changed the plot of the Story within the first few chapters. When Wukong left to head to the City, intent on finding a new home for his sonā¦ he was originally intended to go through with that.
I have Many MANY chapters of this unfolding- of Wukong actually going through with abandoning MK.
It was farrrr different than what the story has changed to now. And I love the direction the story is now going, but I had a lot of angst planned for the original :)

Big Family: Qi Xue, Princess of Flower Fruit Mountain.
A delicate flower with the smile of an Angel. Yet every rose has their thorns, and she is no exception. Always be careful striking a deal with this little lady.
She might play the air head or innocent ditz, but she might be robbing you blind if you arenāt careful.
She absolutely adores her Mother, Wukong, only ever showing her whiney side to him. Her āsweet sideā is actually very honest with him, often clinging to Wukongās arm or tail as she grew.
She canāt hide anything from her Father, Macaque. He always seems to know when she is scheming, but never stops her. Is quite proud how easilly she can obtain what she wants and knows her ambitions. Quietly, he roots for her, knowing none of their other children actually want to rule FFM. And trust it would be in good hands with her if she kept working for it
Big Family Au: who resembles who Most? (Macaque side)
Macaque and his Third eldest Qi Xiaohua. Xiaoxiao has lighter fur just as Macaque did when he was younger. Many call him the spitting image of Macaque in his younger days before his fur darkened.
He only got Wukongās rounder ears and some of his curls. No gene fight even had here š

Then there is Macaque and his fourth born, Sying. Her eye brows are a mix of Macaque and Wukongās. She also has Wukongās smile and eyeshape, but macaqueās eye color, skin color and facial structure. As well as his pointed and colored ears

Macaque and his 5th and 6th born. Both do have very unique features compared to their siblings and parents due to how they came to be in this world. Savage does have many of Wukongās features like his eye shape and ear shape, and Rumble has many of Macaqueās features like his eye shape and ear shape.
But skin tone, hair, even eye color are completely unique. So itās hard to put them on either side. But there are definitely distinct features you can see they got from their parents all the same :)

A strong win for Macaqueās geneās here :) with Bao having both one eye that is Wukongās eyes color and one that is Macaqueās. As well as Wukongās more rounded ears

I had a short mini comic I wanted to make highlight Haoyu meeting his future wife for the first time.
All of Wukong and Macaqueās children are called āStarsā. When Haoyu is older he is tasked with connecting FFM to a neighboring domain and form a treaty. A sort of test as he is the heir, even if he doesnāt want to be.
It is here he meets Chyou
Haoyu not expecting the Domainās middle child to be so hot tempered and beautiful. Caught him a little off guard and made him awkward š
This was so much fun~ and I love Haoyu looking so much like his Papa.

Yellow Tusk always said memory was a liar. That enough time would polish someoneās image until they became more beautiful than they had ever truly been. Nostalgia makes things shineā¦ but often disappoint when you reunit with that pretty memory.

No. If anything, memory failed him. Heās just as beautiful as I remember. Just as warm. The same eyes that always looked sharper than his words.

Perhaps our time now wonāt be exactly as it was. I donāt expect it to be, but I think I still cling to it, just a little.
