Welcome to the Spooktayuri Halloween Short Story Haunt!

It’s October, the spookiest time of the year! To celebrate, we’re hosting a spooky short story haunt - a three-day fest on October 29-31 for you to bring out your spookiest, scariest, most haunting stories featuring Otayuri as the main pairing!

This year’s theme: GHOSTS!

We’re looking for stories that deal with ghosts, ghostly happenings, or other mysterious occurrences from beyond the veil! As a short story event, both fanfiction and fancomics are allowed, provided that they follow the rules and stick to the following lengths:

Fanfiction written by a single writer: 1 - 7.5k words;

Collaborative fanfiction (more than one writer): 3 - 10k words;

Fan comics: 10 - 30 pages.

Use one of our official tags #shssh or #shssh2017 within the first 5 tags when posting a submission once the day comes, and don’t forget to tag content appropriately!

We’ll be seeing you October 29 - 31!

From the 29th to the 31st, be ready to post, read, and delight on all the new spooky Otayuri content present on your closest dashboard! You’ll be seeing GHOSTS in every corner - including this year’s theme and in our rules&faq. SHSSH will be expecting you!
