Your Fave Is Catholic: Grace Helbig
Known for: Beloved internet celebrity, comedian, actress, producer, YouTuber, podcast host, & author. She got her start on the channel My Damn Channel with the web series DailyGrace, before ultimately starting her own YouTube channel & starting her own web series called It’s Grace. On her channel, she also hosts two popular podcast series: Not Too Deep with Grace Helbig & This Might Get Weird. She is also a frequent collaborator with fellow YouTubers Hannah Hart & Mamrie Hart, even doing a live show with them at one point titled #NoFilterShow. She also has her own late night talk show on television called The Grace Helbig Show, is the owner of a dog named Goose, & wrote two books of her own: Grace's Guide: The Art of Pretending to Be a Grown-up & Grace & Style: The Art of Pretending You Have It. You can see most of her content on her YouTube channel, which can be found here.
Evidence of Faith: Often in her videos, she will poke fun & make jokes about religious traditions & such, but do not let that fool you. It turns out many sources state that she’s a devout Roman Catholic. Her TVTropes page mentions that she was raised Catholic & still practices the faith, & her article on WikiTubia also mentions that she is a devout Catholic, even quoting from Grace herself: "Even with all of my success, Jesus is still my absolute greatest priority." I had trouble finding an exact video or podcast where she states her Catholic faith, but I’m certain they exist out there, & I’m sure fans of Grace will happily point them out to this blog!
3/9/2019 Update: It seems that, at least according to @girlnamedafteraflower in a reblog, that this information is no longer accurate. According to one of her podcasts, she left the faith & is no longer a religious person. The information I posted probably was true at one point, but is now outdated & the sources should probably be fixed to reflect this. But either way, I apologize for posting outdated information, I meant no disrespect to Grace Helbig or to any of her fans in making this.
