All Amber had wanted was a place to shelter from the rainstorm. That was all. She had never expected to find herself in such a... Strange place. There were large glass boxes filled to the brim with water, and inside, small creatures moved about freely in the liquid. Humans stopped at each one of the boxes and admired the creatures, before moving on. Amber didnât understand it at all. Why did they keep these creatures here? Why did the humans find it so fascinating? Sure, these weird beings were pretty, but Amber was awfully sure this was not where they were intended to live.Â
The orange gem walked through the halls of glass boxes, trying desperately to keep to herself in the sea of humans, large and small. She especially despised the small humans, always touching and running and yelling... Gross.Â
It was one of those humans that just so happened to run by, and trip over the small gemâs foot. He screamed, and Amber scrambled backwards, a large, semi-transparent golem-like body suddenly enveloping her. In her fear, she swerved to try and avoid the other humans that were now surrounding her and the child, and, before she knew it, she was stopped in her tracks as she heard a loud CRACK! One of the glass boxes had shattered from an impact by the golemâs limbs, and water had begun gushing out onto the floor...Â
