I found a first edition print of Shrek! in really good condition at my local Goodwill. Paid less than what it cost in 1990
Okay so I finally finished watching Haley's video on SHERK! and I just unlocked a memory
so a number of years ago, I saw Sherk the musical. Now, if you haven't seen Sherk the musical, it opens with young Shrek being sent away from the swamp, which is not in the movie. Now, I was only a little confused by it but didn't question it too much. It's an adaption, it gives him and Fiona another thing in common, it's all good
Fast forward to now and I'm learning through a very good YouTube video that that event happened in the book
Now, do I think the people who wrote Sherk the musical put that in there as a reference to the book? I don't know maybe. But it's certainly interesting
