If his lips touch the skin of another humanoid being, they will be âcharmedâ, like a form of mind control, the âbittenâ will do as Shozu commands, and consider him a dear friend and lover. A lusting effect will cause the bitten to put themselves in harms way to protect shozu, he calls this his âmeat shieldâ, and given that he can infect up to 15 individuals at a time, it can be difficult to get past.
Infected individuals cannot infect others, but retain enough intelligence to appear ânormalâ and recruit others that have aligning goals. It I only possible to determine Shozuâs zombies by witnessing a direct order given by him, as zombies will âzone outâ before obeying.
While Shozu undoubtedly has the power to form a large gang, he usually wanders around cities with one or two zombies and uses them for sex and affection. He is picky when it comes who he infects.
His quirk is compared to the bite of undead because even though he only needs to âkissâ another, his ravenous and unstable personality has shown he instead bites, and sometimes takes chunks out of people, particularly if he needs a âhordeâ quickly.
He has an insane spark in him that doesnât care the level of violence needed to achieve his goals, preferring bloodshead almost always. His quirk however also leaves him distrusting if actual love, and while he doesnât know he seeks genuine compassion, his bipolar personality can be explained by a long history of distrust and fear.
