The famous mountain is Mt. Horai（蓬莱山）.

There is "Biwako Valley" on the top!

Many people go there for skiing and snowboarding in winter.

Hi, I’m mamiske! I live in Shiga, Japan. This place is famous for Lake Biwa.

I decided to start this blog to practice my English. I will write about my daily life—sometimes about Shiga, and sometimes about other things.

Shiga is very big and has different faces. In winter, we have a lot of snow in some areas. In summer, we can swim in the lake! It is like the sea.

My English is still learning, but I want to enjoy writing. Thank you for reading!

Lake of Rage. The place of her home. Within the deep lake, it used to be her entire world... where she would travel with her friends in a school to Splash and swim.

But she also remembers the first incident.

She remembered the day she evolved. She remembered the rampage she caused, attacking anything that moved... finding some way to know who to blame... finding some way to deal with her trauma. She remembered fighting a young trainer. While they defeated her, they allowed her to return to the water.

She remembered the day the human returned. They did not try to capture her, but instead brought... a friend? Oh, but it wasn't just any friend. She remembered bowing to them... apologizing for the disrespect... wishing them well and promising to become a guardian of the Lake of Rage.

She remembered the return of those that evolved her. She tried so hard to take the opportunity to destroy them once and for all... for them to go away. She remembered attacking out of fear and anger... out of protection and revenge.... She wished for them to be destroyed but also to go away... until another group of humans appeared and stopped the Team Rocket.

...She remembered the day that she received this form... how someone special appeared before her.

"You have gone through so much already, Gyarados. You have seen so much torment from those who wish this region harm. With Lugia active in another area and Ho-Oh doing her own thing, I would like to make you a deal. Should you choose, you will be chosen as the guardian of this great lake and the town adjacent. We will need you for when the time comes, after all."

Biwako climbed out of the water and started walking towards Mahogany Town.
