In a situation where you and the person you love more than anyone else in the world had to make an impossible sacrifice - that being, the life of the other - who would you want to be sacrificed?

Keep in mind, this (100% fictional) person is everything to you. She's cool, and funny, and gorgeous. And, perhaps most importantly, she's so much smarter than she ever gave herself credit for. The idea of seeing her realize that for herself is blindingly wonderful, and you're so, so happy that you get to be there for it.

And you never thought, not in a million years, that you'd have the chance to get to know her. The chance to be her friend, to love her, even if that relationship was solidified in less-than-ideal circumstances. But against all odds, even if you can hardly believe it, she feels the exact same about you.

And if you went through with either choice, how would you feel? Why? How do you think this (totally fictional) person would feel in turn?
