#short script

On a cliff overlooking the water during a storm we see ANTHONY with his back facing the cliff. Across him we see BAILEY facing him. Thunder strikes that water followed by the sound of crashing waves.

BAILEY

Don't you want revenge?

BAILEY takes 2 steps closer to ANTHONY her hand on her heart

ANTHONY

Not particularly, no?

BAILEY

Wait, what do you mean no? They killed your father!

ANTHONY

He wasn't a particularly good father

ANTHONY looks down at the rocks below his feet

BAILEY

Ok, but were going to stop them, right? (takes a small step back) right? ANTHONY? There going to kill your mother if we don't stop-

ANTHONY

She married the bastard

Split screen of both of there faces. ANTHONY'S face shows no guilt while BAILEYS looks concerned

BAILEY

(Chuckle)

The prophecy, you're the hero

(pause)

remember?

ANTHONY

Let it be her fate

(cold)

BAILEY

A hero will come-

ANTHONY

I don't care

BAILEY

-Blood for blood-

AnTHONY

Means nothing to me!

BAILEY

-or doom to-

ANTHONY

Let his damn home fall!

BAILEY

-for victory by trust-

ANTHONY

-or doom to thys love.

Thunder hits behind BAILEY. ANTHONY takes two steps closer and gently holds BAILEYS face with one hand. His expression softens his shoulders relaxing.

BAILEY

You do want revenge? Don't you?

ANTHONY hugs BAILEY

ANTHONY

I want her in pain

CAm slowly starts spinning around the two

Tears start running down BAILEYS face

BAILEY

but you're the hero, the one in the prophecy

ANTHONY slowly starts turning them both around so BAILEY is now facing away from the water

ANTHONY

The prophecy has two endings

He lets go of her, taking two steps back. Close up his face with a guilty smile, thunder strikes in front of him. Screen goes black. We hear the sound of rocks crashing and the water.

End

as the title said...here it is. Now, I won't lie, some of this was very hard for me, like Godzilla's head and such so...yeah, gotta do what ya gotta do.

Anyways, the script is 45 pages long and is draft 4 and was completed on 4/20/23. So...yeah.
