So as you probably saw in my last post I am doing a "Pay Yourself for Health." Concept challange.

How it works.

Materials needed- a jar and a list of goals.

So I will not be using a Jar simply because I do not trust money just laying around my house so I will be transfering it to a savings account.

How does it work:

Each time you complete a goal on that list you pay yourself the set amount. For example if a goal on my list is to go to the gym each day and for each day i went i paid myself 1.00 into the savings account. If I do not go then i would not pay myself or anything. Makes sense?

Whats the point?

The idea is once a month at the end of the month or whatever you want you can withdaw all the money and treat yourself with the money inside. Go get a new top or go to your favourite restaurant etc. Its like working towards a reward. I probably wont pull out money becuase i will save it and then go on a shopping spree of new clothes! I need new clothes.

So my list of goals

Go to the gym min 4x a week- each day going to the gym I get $1.00. Meaning by the end of the 6 months of saving I should have $96.00

Stick to my house chore list and only clean the designated room for that day.-Each week I will give myself $2.00 meaning by the end of a 6 month period i should have $48.00

Follow Self Care plan- meditate, personal care, reading doing something once a week for myself to relax and take care of myself. $0.50 a week = 2.00 a month. =$12.00 after 6months

So by the end of 6 months (starting Febuary 01) ending at the end of July if I do it each week and get the most amount out of this I will have a total of $156.00 to spend on new clothes.
