Designated Survivor 1x3 and 1x4
Sup
Look at me on fire, two reviews in one day.ย
Letโs get the show on the road. (Huh, I really am full of sarcastic comebacks and ancient sayings. Sweet)
(spoiler alert)
(duh)
Episode 3: The Confession
Kirkman faces crisis after crisis as he juggles dealing with an interview that leaves many questioning the legitimacy of his Presidency and the fallout of a leaked video from a terrorist group claiming to be responsible for the bombing; Wells questions the bombing's sole survivor only to realize he is not telling her the whole truth, he was in fact NOT in the room when the bomb went off; and Alex deals with a personal crisis when she unearths a bag of pills in Leo's bedroom drawer. Like seriously kid - your dad is the president now. If you are going to deal drugs, you got to clean it up before you move into the fucking White House. But thatโs fine - attending family dinner gets rid of felonies. Mmhm.ย
Episode loves: Kirkman. He is literally the sweetest puppy and I want to elect him for 2016. Anyone else agree with me?
Episode hate: I felt this whole drug plotline was thrown on and probably not necessary. But itโs okay. Iโm just waiting for this to backfire immediately.
Episode 4: The Enemy
Kirkman returns to the issue of civil rights in Michigan while attempting to capture a terrorist believed to be responsible for the attack; Hannah suspects that MacLeish is not telling the truth about what happened the night of the bombing (my, my, my what a surprise); Alex returns to her old job to try to prevent to deportation of one of her clients, only to seek help from (ugh I hate her, but I love her) Congresswoman ย . It was a pretty good episode actually. I love it.
Episode loves: Alex. Like she is so badass and a brilliant lawyer. Also - i TOTALLY SHIP EMILY AND AARON. But as my friend puts it: โstop flirting and get to workโ ;)ย
Overall, the show is going pretty well, and Iโm excited to see more.
As always, feel free to send in requests, comments or whatever ya feel like.
Nerd out.
