Nonhuman: a label for anyone who identifies as something other than human internally. This can be animal identities or fantasy races or anything else that isn't human.

Alterhuman: a label for anyone who experiences humanity in a different way. Sometimes erroneously used as a synonym for nonhuman, this can also include human-identifying kintypes, such as in the case of fictionkin, or human headmates in plural systems.

Subhuman: MAGAts, fascists, Nazis, Confederates and anyone who supports the rightwing assault on all that is good in the world. Subhumans are a lower lifeform that do not support values of shared humanity. They believe traits associated with values of humanity like "compassion" and caring for fellow people are sins. They are generally less educated than other biological humans, and rather than accepting it as a fault, want to destroy education to make everyone as stupid as the subhuman.

It's important to remember that human, nonhuman and alterhuman identities are all equal regardless of how they internally identify. Identifying as a non-human creature doesn't make you any less of a person nor deserving of less respect.
