Pine and spruce resin that I keep to burn as incense. 

I decided to do this whole jar today. There’s 2 crow feathers an owl feather a few tree pearls a horse (?) tooth bones that I found in my grandma’s garden (used to be a graveyard, might be animal bone, might be human a nail from the same garden one of my own milk teeth

A snail shell, that I carved a pattern in and feathers from a grey parrot, a magpie, parrot, buzzard, and a Eurasian jay. Except for the parrots, they were found in the forest.

These brass horse combs were rarely used to actually comb the horse, but rather as a magical amulet that was hung on the neck of the leading horse and was supposed to keep the horse from witchcraft and malicious spirits. This one’s a family heirloom from my great-great-grandfather around 1850

Bohnerz (Bean ore) is a type of high quality iron ore, that can be found in these bean shaped nuggets in a clay layer on the Swabian Jurassic. One of our gardens happens to be on a site where they used to mine and refine these ores in the early middle ages, so I often find lots of slag, but also sometimes a bit of leftover ore. 

Another 3 for 1 today: A bottle filled with semi-precious stones and mother of pearl, that I bought on a mineral market many years ago A bottle with especially shiny dead beetle parts from the garden A bottle with jewelwing wings, that I found in Italy in 2014. Whatever ate the jewelwings, left the wings behind.

Just some teeth today. I can’t even remember where they’re from. I wonder how people without a hoard would react to finding some random teeth on their shelf...
