Some Shindo/Tatami headcanons, cuz there just isn’t enough appreciation for this cute canon couple!
They’re a very cuddly and affectionate couple- lots of hugs, forehead boops, nose nuzzles, Tatami sitting in his lap, riding piggyback and burying her face in his shoulder...
They enjoy going on dates at the aquarium
Sometimes Shindo jokes about bringing his fishing pole there, which earns him a gentle slap and an amused “no!” from Tatami
One time he actually tried it just to see what would happen
(he got it confiscated)
They like watching animal videos together, though Shindo usually ends up watching Tatami for most of it, cuz her happy face when she sees the cute animals is the most precious thing to him
He calls her turtledove, she calls him Yo-chan
(though sometimes she calls him yogurt puns just to annoy him)
Shindo knew Tatami was the one when she beat him in a prank war
They like watching prank videos together, as well as making their own for Shindo’s YouTube channel
Sometimes Tatami has to rein him in and make sure his pranks don’t get too out of hand, but most of the time she’s giggling behind the camera cuz her boyfriend is such a goof
One of Tatami’s favorite ways to prank Shindo is by using her quirk to hide in small spaces, then popping out and surprising him
One time she did it horizontally, and she tripped Shindo and made him fall flat on his face
She’s also used her quirk to headbutt him in the back and make him lose his balance at least once
Tatami likes to boop Shindo’s nose when she teases/chides him
They have a silly routine they do where Shindo jokingly asks “woman, have you lost your head?” and Tatami replies “why, yes I have!” and uses her quirk to retract her head
It’s so dumb, but it makes them giggly every time
Shindo gives the BEST massages thanks to his quirk
Who needs a fancy battery-powered massage gadget when Shindo can just take two stress balls and massage Tatami’s back with those? And who needs to buy a massage chair when he can turn ANY chair into a massage chair?

I likely won't write it but imagined a oneshot of Shindo and Tatami on a date to the beach and boardwalk where Shindo is being kind of a hero but Tatami is trying to get him to lighten up and come down to earth, being adorable and a good girlfriend the entire time
