How exactly did Shiloh end up in that world and also is like she in some digital world or like trapped in a novel maybe even VR??
Shilou is trapped in a world called 'The House'. It's basically an alternate dimension that's set up like the interior of an abandoned Victorian-era styled house and it just goes on forever and ever with no exit or outside windows. In this "house" there are rooms that are basically small pocket dimensions. These "rooms" can basically contain anything, but they do have limits on how big they are (so you're not gonna come across a never-ending room).
The Plane Tree is an Aesop tale that reads:
Two travelers of the noonday sun sought the shade of a widespread tree to rest. As they lay looking up at the pleasant leaves, they saw it was a plane tree.
“How useless is the plane!” Said one of them, “It bares no fruit whatsoever and only serves to litter the ground with leaves.”
“Ungrateful creatures!” Said a voice from the Plane Tree, “You lie here in my cooling shade and yet you say that I am useless! Thus ungratefully, O Jupiter, do men receive their blessings!”
This poem was chosen for an assignment in high school, and was probably my first fully-fleshed comic. It felt pretty cathartic drawing it again
