So, today I was watching Sherlock again. With dubbing, unfortunately. I’m Czech and in our language we have different inflection for women and men. And when Mycroft was saying “Put me through to Sherrinford, please.”, they use the inflection for women!

I think everyone missed something HUGE from the very first season, from the first time we meet Moriarty, that explains how he’s coming ‘back’ and how he’s avoided getting caught for this long. THEORY: Andrew Scott is not the real Moriarty. The guy we’ve been calling Moriarty is just another puppet. Think about it- the entire episode where we meet Moriarty is all about him talking through other people, and using them to talk instead of appearing himself. Then during the pool scene when he supposedly shows himself, here’s the actual dialogue:

M: no one ever gets to me. And no one ever will.

S: I did.

M: You’ve come the closest… and now you’re in my way.

“You’ve come the closest”… meaning, Sherlock didn’t get to Moriarty yet. He got farther than anyone else though- Andrew Scott must have been high up. I definitely don’t think he had an earpiece like the other people Moriarty used in the episode- I think he was Moriarty’s right-hand man. He shows up to do the monologuing so the real Moriarty doesn’t ever get caught. This would explain why Andrew Scott says thank you to Sherlock before he kills himself, almost like he’s relieved to finally be done doing the real Moriarty’s dirty work. And- the icing on the cake comes in the season 3 finale, when we see the “did you miss me” gif, and the bottom section of Moriarty’s chin is the only part that moves, exactly like a VENTRILOQUIST PUPPET. Like the real Moriarty is saying, ‘oh you killed my Andrew Scott, well I didn’t need him anyway, I might as well use a picture. He was just my puppet and you fell for it.’

Here’s a question: Where did Mike Stamford go? 

I just feel like this is the kind of show that never presents anything without a specific purpose. With that in mind, has anyone else ever wondered about him? 

Here are my top 10 comments after the first watch of the S4 trailor! (I’m sure I’ll have more after a closer look...

1. Why in the freaking HELL is John in a dark, depressing hospital room? are you kidding me Mofftiss?! Because there’s not many people he would be there for and we all know Mary is pregnant and probably going to have the baby this season and I just... Ugh! *throws table* and does it relate to the coven of nurses later in the trailer and Sherlock’s heartbreaking face???

2. That looks like a hotel pool... It’s a fancy pool, what up Sherlock?

3. So do they get further involved in what Mycroft does? Because there’s some crazy military stuff going down in this trailor and the government IS the group that brought him back from exile...

4. “We’re going to have endless fun Mr. Holmes, aren’t we?” Yeah because that doesn’t sound dark and twisted??? And his response isn’t much better “Oh no, not endless.” COME ON! AND i HAVE TO WAIT TILL JANUARY FOR THIS?!

5. Sherlock looks so upset... not my baby, UGH!

6. At 1:31, is that Mary with dark hair? I paused it and everything and it looks like her WITH ANOTHER GUN so... I mean we all know how much we loved the LAST time she had a gun -_- (and yes I know we actually liked it because she admitted what she did to John but I still wasn’t over her shooting Sherlock so shhh!)

7. I’m curious as to what Mycroft does that is PUBLIC enough for Mrs. Hudson to notice? because the only public things he’s ever done weren’t ever bad enough for her to be THAT mad at him (I swear she’s only ever been annoyed with him because he’s a crappy big brother and he snapped at her a few times).

8. NO ENTRY to wear... Because I can’t help but wonder if that’s a direct reference to the quote “The roads we walk have demons beneath” yea? Or is that too literal? 

9. THAT WAS MYCROFT! THE BACK OF HIS HEAD! ON A BEACH???

I have a headcanon that Sherlock tried to make Sherl*lly canon.

I think in season 3 Sherlock REALLY wanted to fall in love with Molly after TEH. I think he tried so hard. John had moved on, and had a fiancé, and Sherlock was alone. So he took Molly out on what he thought would be a date. A crime scene. He got progressively more and more sad throughout the day because the more time he spent with her, he realized that even though he likes her as a friend and respects her as a colleague, he can’t be attracted to her as a woman. And he keeps wishing it was John in her place. At the end of the day when he’s kissing her, he’s apologizing to her for not being able to fall in love with her. The way he thinks he should have. He thinks it would be so much easier to love Molly, but he just can’t. Immediately after going home, alone, he is standing in the hallway in his coat, sadly eating his extra portion of chips by himself.
