Here’s a question: Where did Mike Stamford go?Â
I just feel like this is the kind of show that never presents anything without a specific purpose. With that in mind, has anyone else ever wondered about him?Â
There's also the fact that (going along with my theory of M's), could he not be a villain later on? I mean he is the one that introduced our two favorite men! And you can try and tell me he’s an inconsequential character, but he obviously knew Sherlock well enough to have a conversation with him (seriously, Sherlock doesn’t waste time on people he doesn’t like... the topic of ‘flatmates’ wouldn’t have come up if Sherlock wasn’t willing to tolerate him!), and he also knew him well enough to know where to find him later on. It’s not like Sherlock’s location was an obvious spot, and we didn’t see any texts (I digress, that could have happened offscreen) but in the end it comes down to the fact that I WANT TO KNOW WHO THIS DUDE IS! Is he really just John’s old ‘friend’ from college? Why don’t we ever hear from him again?
