Hi Steph!

I've been trying to find this video everywhere with no luck, so I thought I'd try asking you. There was an interview going around with everyone for TFP, and it included a clip of Martin Freeman talking about Sherlock and John running off to solve crimes "as friends, which is, you know, a lovely thing" and he looked so dead inside. I can't find it anymore and am worried I hallucinated it. Any help from you or your followers would be appreciated. Thanks for all the great work you do! <3

In regards to all the drama that has come from Moffat’s new interview, i just wanted to say that I feel like most people missed what he was trying to say. I love watching and reading interviews, I’ve watched loads of Sherlock cast and crew interviews and he’s talked about this before. The point he’s making is that in other adaptations, people often overlook the comedy that was present in the ACD stories (and he’s right), which is why he wanted to include and highlight it in the BBC adaptation. He’s not insulting people’s intelligence by saying this, he’s not saying we’re too stupid to see the funny parts or that we can’t see it’s a drama. Calling Sherlock a comedy was an exaggeration and you can see this when you watch other interviews and see the context. Sorry for such a long rant but I feel like way too many people are jumping on the hating Moffat train without seeing things from all angles and the negativity just got to me.

i feel like there’s so little interviews with martin and ben together, which is weird cause they’re literally the two leads? do you know any i can watch cause i’m at a loss here
