A couple more recital drawings!
In the second one, I wanted to convey that Link feels that something about Sheik feels oddly familiar... I hope it comes across 😊

“what do you mean you wouldn’t be insulted if sheik’s theme was what your future partner associated with you?”
are--are you fucking joking?
that’s the princess in disguise giving the hero the most help when he fucking needs it. it’s symbolic of her adaptability to her surroundings, her willingness to do whatever it takes to protect and aid the hero (there are also a LOT of arguments about gender fluidity in zelda as a character, but as a cishet person i am not qualified to talk about those things and quite frankly don’t want to as they’ve already been discussed at length by people smarter than me, please just look at the tags for the fandom and i promise you’ll find everything you need)
no. no i wouldn’t be insulted.
that harp gives me a lot of comfort. much like the temple of time melody: i’d know that sound anywhere. maybe you should chill for a bit and listen with me. <3 i have an extra chair. it’s all yours. sit with me.
