Takes a while make a ball of wool, since the sheep is so tiny, so for now saving for a future scarf or beanie.

From Sheep to Sweater in record time

In 2017 the world record for quickest sheep to sweater was set by a Dutch team of spinners, knitters and a shearer. Their time of 4 hours, 45 minutes and 53 seconds still stands.
Somebody in the background of this fantasy anime is shearing a sheep, and what you don't know you don't know and I guess animating the background sheep guy is low on the research priorities, but the guy is using two handed garden shears on this poor sheep, how are you manipulating/controlling the sheep without a free hand? The animal is going to get hurt.
He should be using something like this,
Spring shears like this date back to ancient Egypt and were in continuous use until the invention of modern mechanical shears, and still are in use in some regions and from personal preference.
