Was watching Sharknado today and I just wanted to take a minute to appreciate the film. The CGI? Amazing. The graphics? Impecable. The acting? Glorious. The portrayal of sharks? Very, very wrong. I actually hate the movie. I don't want to talk about it anymore. Have a good day.
You guys - chill out. Algae isn't even the worst thing that's been in the reflecting pool.

I unironically love Sharknado because, like so many cult classics, the only reason it exists is passion, joy, and a dedicated group of friends undaunted by a mediocre result because ultimately it's about the love of the craft. It's important to celebrate and support films like that.
Sharknado tips: If your girlfriend falls out of a helicopter into the jaws of a shark, be sure to wait a few awkward beats before yelling your mournful "Noooooooo!" to ensure any nearby airborne sharks are out of sonic range.
The real joy of this film is truly the pacing. Shout out to the guy who gets his arm eaten and then dies screaming and coughing up blood for a full minute, only to have the whole ordeal abruptly punctuated by a hammerhead just landing on his face.
