i think that scamming working class artists and not paying them is worse than whatever mutual online âbullyingâ has gone on between elriels and eluciens/gwynriels (although whatever elriels did to them, it was likely deserved)

i know how awful elriels can be, just as I know how awful eluciens AND gwynriels can be. katie purposely went after elriel artists, tarnished their work, bullied multiple people on ALL sides of the fandom, made it to where an artist doesnât do commissions anymore because of katie trying to stifle her as well and being an overall bitch the entire time, bullied and ruined reputations of people I know, wrote a fetish elriel fanfic in hopes to get more clout, stole fuck knows how much art and stifled multiple artist out of their money, told people to kill themselves all because they didnât like the same character as her, faked being a gwynriel because she thought it was the ship that hurt elriels the most, then proceeded to go with elucien when gwynriels clocked her and started cutting her off, all because she is obsessed with her own need to be validated and have the most clicks. id argue that what katie has done is muchmuchmuchmuch worse than what the average elriel does that yall bitch and moan about
all of her commissions were truly saved by the artists because they were a: over used concepts, b: copycats, and c: gotchas (she labeled them like this herself in those gcs). all of her content was specifically created to target audiences to clout her. âi stand for the bulliedâ not true, you dont stand with the bullied, you stood with THE bully that just has the same opinions as you. you think just bc youâre some big named âtheoristâ and commissioner that means you can also get away with applauding katie for her behavior until katie did something she couldnât walk away from (which she has bc you guys decided to handle this privately allowing her time to just delete her acotar socials and start new with a different fandom where she continues to act this way). the only thing Iâm sorry about is that her supposed stalker didnât find its prey because she and her friends bullied not one but TWO of my friends off this stupid fandom (both gwynriels just so you know) all because of some opinions about characters she didn't like.
you can scold me all you want about how my approach was "weird/just putting your nose in where it dont belong" and scream all you want how you think handling the matter privately to "protect the artists" was the best decision you made in your life but this might just be my opinion.... i dont think i would feel safe when the danger targeting a group is running free and i dont know about said danger while being part of that group.

Elain is easily one of my favorite characters. The way she is written is so beautifully nuanced and subtle. Her quiet strength and perseverance to rise above the label people have shoved her into all in the name of âprotectingâ her is perfect. She is so criminally overlooked because shes quiet and unassuming and as a woman I feel that so deeply, even when she was warning them in ACOWAR with her visions that all came to pass everyone but Azriel brushed her off as crazy(why their relationship is so perfect fyi). Her story is going to blow us all away and I for one, cannot wait to watch her haters eat their words. I mean, how insanely interesting is a Seer?? Boring is the last adjective I would use. And her clear set up of choosing love over fate and being a spy with Nuala, Cerridwen and Azriel?? Her upcoming story is one of the most unique and intriguing i have seen in a while.
