Evan was just about asleep when Venti accidentally woke him up by draping another blanket on top of him. Wasn’t it the blanket Venti was supposed to be using? How silly…

Hello! nebulasresolution (aka Roimata) and I have started a new fanfiction called Shared Warmth. It’s pretty much an alternate universe of Haikyuu!!, and the main characters are two original characters that each of us has made.

'This is why we can't have nice things.' 

That was Armin's most basic thought on his current situation; on vacation with Mikasa, snowed into the cabin.

Pulling his face from the window, Armin drew the curtains across the window to hide the unsavory weather that had befallen the pair. He did prefer the cold over the heat, but this was absolutely ridiculous. He tossed another log into the fireplace that had been keeping them warm for the last few hours once the power had gone out, a few sleeping bags piled a few feet from the bright fire.

The water still worked though, as was proven by the sound of Mikasa taking a shower in the bathroom down the hall. They were both twenty-two, and on winter break from ever-stressful medical school. His parents had, happily, financed the much needed retreat to the North, and one of the surgeons-to-be that learned alongside Mikasa, Ymir, had recommended Scandinavia.
