How could I be shapist? I have a circular friend.
These are not only stunning but absolutely necessary! A beautiful visual, that dispels the boxing of fat bodies into 'winter stock' or fetish. Fat people doing normal everyday thinhs should not be an extraordinary thing to be celebrated, it should be normal every day life. That said, I don't feel represented by these wonderful artworks and it is not the artist's fault. Yes I am still harping on about colorism and shapism. Life is different for black people, but even more so for dark skinned individuals. The same can be said about fat girls vs fat boys, apple shaped vs pear shaped women. It is what it is and the privileged are happy to maintain the status quo. Call it Unconscious Bias if you want, but how racism, colorism, body size and shapism affect how you are perceived is not something that we are making up, it is a lived experience. Just like pretty girl privilege is a thing too! #unconsciousbias #racism #effyourbeautystandards #effyourbodystandards #shapism #colorism #bodypositivity #fupagang https://www.instagram.com/p/CQUhq-zJj9c/?utm_medium=tumblr

Picking Up the Pieces
This is dedicated to the people who are diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder, like me. I wanted to share what autism is, what it does, how does it feel to have it, and what makes it important to be aware of. We, autistic people, may act and think differently. But, that makes the world a more interesting place. Happy #AutismAcceptanceDay!
