4 months from today, I get to marry my best friend!!! I’m so excited for that next step and time is FLYING by! . . I get asked about my ring a lot, and let me tell you Jake nailed it. We talked for a few months before getting engaged about what I wanted and he took me to look at some about a month before he asked. . My center stone is a lavender sapphire (my favorite stone) surrounded by a diamond petal halo. I didn’t want a diamond center stone because I didn’t want my ring to look like everyone else’s. With the trends today, while they’re beautiful, I have a lot of friends I honestly can hardly tell their rings apart. So it was really important for mine to be unique. .
