Folks, I know people may not know me very well, but I’m currently working on the concepts for a couple new comics of my own design. It’s still in the world-building stage, telling the stories to expand the mythos, but I’d love to talk to an artist to help me flesh out what certain characters and concepts look like. That, I think, would help me better visualize the world I have in mind, and might even be incentive for potential backers, if I decide to crowd-source the concept on Kickstarter, Patreon or somewhere similar. I would so deeply appreciate if I could commission someone to help me out, and I promise, your efforts will be well rewarded. Your work will speak for itself, of course, but I will gladly share in whatever monetary profits are borne forth, and even if I find myself unable to complete the project for whatever reason, I will continue to promote and share your artwork and any blogs/websites you have established, as a sign of goodwill, gratitude and appreciation.

It’s completely possible you’re correct. But the information could help someone else who has the same views and I could get through to them. It’s worth it to me to at least try. I'm following the example of Michael Stevenson’s outreach to Derek Black. The worst result is that we remain where we are, the best result is that we hear each other.
