I think itâs going to end because they still love J&V but they arenât in love with them but they donât want to hurt them. Everyone goes about their way and then when the time jump happens something brings everyone home (because of course) Betty is the first one to come home she and Archie see each other after years of avoiding each other and their feelings are still there. This time theyâll work.

So, Iâve gotten a couple of answers to my original question but this right here seems to be the general gist of it.
And while I donât want to take a Bal kiss away from anyoneâbecause theyâre great and Iâm always down for more of them being in Descendants stuffâIâve watched that scene a ridiculous number of times and I donât think they actually kiss. They get real close, but then everyone splashes them and interrupts.Â
At least, thatâs what I saw.
