❦King Ben dating headcanons❦
I loved writing this and I could go on forever about him so if anyone wants more of these headcanons I still have loads in my brain! Thank you for requesting!! <3 I made it gender neutral as I didn’t know if you wanted it with a female reader or not hope that’s ok!
Warnings: none
hush! — b.f
summary: you and ben are together, which your friends predicted would happen except, tonight was not the night you would prove them right. who? ben florian x fem!reader a/n: someone stop me from putting ben in secret relationships all the damn timeee
y/n?? it’s jane!!
“what-” ben muttered under his breath, barely breaking away from your mouth as he glanced towards the door.
there you were, lying on your bed in the midst of a passionate make-out session when unexpected knocks echoed through the room, causing both of you to freeze. you broke away from each other, startled by the interruption.
“just shut up and hide under the bed, now!” you whisper-yelled to order him.
ben looked at you, his expression a mix of surprise and amusement.
“under the bed? seriously-” he was ready to protest but the authority in your eyes made him realize that this wasn’t debate.
he quickly nodded and made sure he was out of sight and under the bed while you scrambled to hide any sign of his presence here, like the sweater he took off during your heated encounter a moment ago.
as jane kept on knocking, you quickly composed yourself and turned towards the door. you plastered on a wide smile, hoping that she wouldn’t notice your semi-disheveled look.
her smile widened as you opened the door, a sheepish expression on her face. she was clearly unaware of the situation she had interrupted, you thought.
“hey, can i come in for a second?”
she let herself in while your focus remained on appearing normal. “uh, sure, what did you want to talk about?”
“you know, girl stuff.” you stiffened as she was about to take a seat on your bed.
immediately, you lunged for the bed and took her by the arm to go sit on the window seat with you. slight confusion colored her face then, and you silently prayed that she wouldn’t ask any questions. thankfully, she let it go.
“it’s about carlos.” she whispered, as if she was sharing a secret. whatever it was, she seemed really eager to tell you about it.
“okay..” your eyes glanced back to your bed’s foot, still worried about your boyfriend down there.
“so.. you know how things have been going well between us? like really well?” her voice got progressively higher as she got closer to what she wanted to say.
you tried to focus but the wait made it impossible to. a few minutes ago, ben was kissing your face off for god’s sake. the come down was quite hard and thankfully, jane hadn’t noticed anything yet. however, you didn’t have time to fix yourself properly.
using your finger, you tried to wipe your mouth off and jane stopped.
“are you okay? because we can talk about this another time if you want.”
she didn’t know how great that would be. but she looked so happy coming in here, you might as well hear her out now.
you hummed, “i’m fine! you were telling me about you and carlos.” you said with a soft playful tone.
“yes, so today he asked me something,” she paused, building up the suspense, “he asked me, to be his girlfriend.” she blushed, her eyes sparkling with joy.
“oh, my god, jane!!” you extended your arms and hugged her, congratulating her, when you were caught off guard by a loud bang coming from underneath your bed.
jane pulled away from the hug to look around before looking back at you, puzzled by the cause of the disturbance.
“what was that?”
you took a long minute to come up with something believable before you decided to rush her into a hug again, keeping her head away with your hand.
“nothing, nothing! this is just awesome news jane, i’m so excited for you!”
despite being disoriented by the unexplained noise, jane was quickly distracted by your enthusiasm. she was grinning again, totally oblivious to the fact that you were trying to keep her gaze away from the bed.
“thank you, i mean i never thought i’d find someone like carlos. he’s so sweet, and we just click, you know?”
you genuinely smiled. “yeah, i know. you guys are really cute together.”
you thought about what you also shared with ben and- ben. he was still hiding under your bed for god’s sake. you cleared your throat, snapping out of your daze.
“jane, i am so sorry, i have a big day tomorrow and i’m exhausted, why don’t we talk about it more then, mmh? over lunch, sounds good?” you suggested while hurrying her to the door.
“yeah! uhm, totally, sounds good!”
“okay, bye, goodnight jane!” you pushed her out of the dorm, shutting the door behind.
resting your back against it, you exhaled. the silence that started to settle in was broken by ben’s voice, under the bed.
“thought she’d never leave.”
you snorted as he came out of his hiding place, his hair slightly tousled from being underneath furniture, “shut up, she was excited.”
“i could tell, she didn’t even notice me down there.” he chuckled, clearly finding the situation amusing.
“almost” you pointed out, “what was all of this noise about?” you joked while his hands found your waist, pulling you closer to him.
“oh, that was just me trying to find a comfortable position under there.” you lightly slapped his chest as he feigned innocence. he laughed and you couldn’t hold in your own chuckle.
“thank god she was too busy talking about carlos to notice anything, otherwise she wouldn’t have let us hear the end of it.”
ben’s smile only widened, visibly picturing the scenario in his mind.
“i think it’s time for me to leave, too.”
“what?” your smile fell, your hands gripping his forearms. “why?”
ben’s eyes met yours as you looked back up at him. he recognized the disappointment in your tone and felt bad.
“i don’t think we want your roommates to find us like jane almost did.”
you remembered how you kept your relationship a secret, so your friends wouldn’t know they were right after they spent the past year pointing out how obvious it was that you liked eachother. you were 2 months in already, and it got harder each day.
“mmh, you’re right.” you muttered, your sad eyes leaving his.
his hand tucked a hair strand behind your ear, causing you to look up again, “maybe we should just tell our friends. they’d be happy, you know.”
“i know, i just really hate being wrong.” you wrapped your arms around his back and he reciprocated the action, his head resting on top of yours.
you pulled away and stood up on your tiptoes to meet his lips.
“for the road.” you whispered close to his lips.
ben smiled against your lips as you went for another kiss, savoring every second of it. his fingers trailed up your back before he reluctantly pulled away completely, clearly not wanting to leave your side yet.
“okay we should go before they catch us red-handed” you warned him playfully.
ben’s eyebrows rose, “we? you’re coming with me?”
“you really thought i was about to sleep in my dorm alone tonight? after the day we’ve had?” you scoffed, “just open the door already.” he laughed and took your hand in his while leaving your dorm.
as you ran around the school’s hallways, trying not to get caught, you thought about how you would gladly let your friends win this one argument. for once, you were really thankful that they were right.
A soul that's born in cold and rain, knows sunlight
Looking at him felt like breathing for the first time.
The stories they whispered; the ones about blue skies, about warmth that didn’t burn, about people who smiled without wanting something, they all took shape in him. Things you've never believed in until now.
The sun made his hair look like a halo, and it stung your eyes to look too long. Maybe that’s what divinity was, something so bright it hurt. Maybe you could worship him, the way everyone else already did. All eyes turned to him, pulled like metal to a magnet.
He looked every inch like the leader, the kind of person you ran toward when trouble came, not away from.
And you, born of rust and shadow, felt something in your chest unclench, something you didn’t have a name for.
His gaze moved across the line of Isle kids like sunlight crawling over metal; warm, deliberate, a little too kind.
You didn’t expect it to stop on you.
For a second, you thought it was a trick of the light, that he was looking past you, at Mal, or maybe at the guards behind you. But then he smiled. Not the polite kind people gave to royalty, this one reached his eyes, softened something there.
And it felt like the world went quiet, no cheers, no rusted wind howling through broken ship hulls, no sharp laughter echoing off the Isle’s cliffs. Just that look. Like he saw you, not the grease under your nails or the frayed jacket or the metal hanging from your belt.
You.
He stepped forward, hand extended, the sunlight catching on the golden cuff around his wrist. “Welcome to Auradon,” he said, voice steady, warm, impossibly gentle.
You stared at his hand. It was too clean, too perfect. You’d stained everything you’d ever touched; why should he be any different?
But his hand didn’t waver.
So you took it.
The warmth of his skin against yours was dizzying. It felt like being touched by something alive for the first time, like every cold part of you was being rewritten.
Ben’s smile widened, and the sunlight spilled closer. “I hope you’ll feel at home here.”
You almost laughed, home? The Isle was rust and ruin, but at least it was honest. Auradon glittered too much to be real. Still, when he let go, your fingers curled in instinctively, like trying to hold on to the echo of his warmth.
Maybe you were foolish. Maybe everyone who looked at the sun for too long was.
But it was warm and comforting.
You didn’t notice when the others started walking, not until Mal nudged you forward or when the limo doors shut behind you with a soft click. The air here smelled different; cleaner, sweeter, almost unreal. It made your lungs ache.
You’d spent your whole life breathing smoke and salt, air thick enough to taste. Here, it felt wrong that something invisible could still be heavy.
The path stretched ahead, sunlight spilling like gold dust across polished stone. And he was up there; still smiling, still radiant, waving as though this was all normal, as though you hadn’t just stepped out of a nightmare into one of his fairy tales.
Maybe he didn’t understand what that meant. Maybe he didn’t know what it did to a person, being seen like that.
Because for him, sunlight was something constant. For you, it was something to chase, and, maybe, something that could burn you alive.
My Ideal Ending for Wicked Wonderland
The Main Cast is facing off against Maddox, Chessy, and evil!Chloe Charming and things are looking bleak. They're surrounded by soldiers outside of Maddox's headquarters. All hope seems to be lost...
...until a tentacle out of nowhere grabs the bracelet off of Chloe.
Chloe reverts to normal, but before anyone has time to process, she's dragged away and placed between Red and Hazel just a second before pirates, seemingly out of nowhere, have everyone surrounded. The pirates defeat the soldiers with ease, and before Maddox and Chessy can get away, two tentacles grab Maddox by his wrists, another grabs Chessy carefully, and a fourth tentacle grabs the gem and reverts the damage Maddox caused.
Behind the main cast, three more pirates appear. Harry Hook on the left, Gil Legume-Abadi on the right, and their captain front and center, with a smug smirk on her face.
Uma: What's my name?
Everyone: UMA!
Uma: *groans, and points to the kids* That's Headmistress Uma to you, bozos, and yes, that includes you, Miss Hook. Just because I married your brother doesn't mean you get away with disrespecting my title while I'm on the clock. And if you all thought I was gonna approve these absences so you can save Wonderland without me, you're crazier than Hatter.
Harry, to Hazel specifically: Haha.
Uma: And what's funny, Harry? You were supposed to lead half the crew here an hour ago while I got backup and secured the school. Things shouldn't have even gotten this bad! What took so long?
Gil: Those chess pieces can dance.
Uma: Ugh, whatever. Harry and Gil, grab Hatter and the cat. Jonas, free the queens, everyone else, let's head home. Meeting in my office tomorrow morning, 7am sharp! That goes for everyone!
Everyone: *groans and moans in reluctance*
Uma, leading the group of pirates, students, and two queens back to Auradon: ...done wasted my whole day when I could've saved Wonderland in half the time, but no, Ben says we have to let the kids lead the way. And speaking of Ben, can someone call him? I haven't heard from him in months and y'all know how susceptible he is to kidnappings and coups. Who knows who's after his head after you two messed with the past...
Red: Wait, you know about–
Uma, flipping her locs: I have eyes everywhere, of course, I know.

TAKE ME TO WONDERLAND
The room was filled with colorful pillows, fairy lights, and the scent of popcorn and nail polish as the girls of Auradon settled in for their sleepover. Evie was applying face masks while Audrey braided Lonnie's hair. Jane was organizing nail polish colors and Uma was scrolling through her phone, occasionally smirking at something she found funny.
"Okay, truth or dare?" Evie asked, setting down the jar of cucumber face cream.
Before anyone could answer, the door creaked open and Haden peeked in. "Hope I'm not interrupting anything," he said with a grin. Haden was Mal's half-brother, and the son of Hades and Chernabog. His dark coat flowing behind him as he enters the girls’ dorm room.
Mal rolled her eyes but smiled. "Haden! What are you doing here?"
"Couldn't resist the allure of a sleepover." He said, plopping down on a pile of pillows. "Mind if I join?"
The girls exchanged looks before shrugging in unison. "Sure." Uma said. "But only if you don't try to steal our snacks."
"Deal." Haden laughed.
Suddenly, Evie sat up straighter. "I have an idea! Let's do a song!"
The others groaned playfully but were clearly interested. Evie grabbed her phone to pull up the lyrics, and soon they were all sitting in a circle, pillows arranged like an informal stage.
Dododododidodo Dododododidododo…
Evie began, her voice clear and melodic: "I'm not Snow White, but I'm lost inside this forest." In honor of her mother's hatred for the Princess that was “The Fairest of them all.”
Mal joined in, her voice adding a slightly edgier tone: "I'm not Red Riding Hood, but I think the wolves have got me."
Audrey sang next, her voice surprisingly strong: "Don't want your stilettos, I'm not, not Cinderella."
Ally, who had been quiet until now, sang with passion: "I don't need a knight, so, baby, take off all your armor."
Haden smiled as this line reminded him of Ben, and he sang: "You be the Beast, and I'll be the Beauty, Beauty. Who needs true love as long as you love me truly?"
Evie continued, her eyes meeting Mal's: "I want it all, but I want you more. Will you wake me up, boy, if I bite your poison apple?"
Then they all joined together for the chorus, their voices blending in perfect harmony:
"I don't believe in fairytales (no, no, no)
I don't believe in fairytales (no, no, no)
I don't believe in fairytales
But I believe in you and me
Take me to Wonderland
Take me to, take me to, take me to Wonderland
Take me to, take me to, take me to Wonderland
Take me to, take me to, take me to Wonderland, Wonderland, Wonderland."
Audrey sang the next verse in honor of her mom, Sleeping Beauty. Her voice is soft but clear: "When I lay my head down to go to sleep at night."
Lonnie continued: "My dreams consist of things that'll make you wanna hide."
Jane sang next, her voice gaining confidence:
"Don't lock me in your tower, show me your magic powers."
Uma added her part with a smirk:
"I'm not afraid to face a little bit of danger, danger"
Haden sang his lines, his eyes distant as if thinking of someone special: "I want the love, the money, and the perfect ending.
You want the same as I, I, so stop pretending."
Mal and Ally sang together, their voices complementing each other: "I wanna show you how good we could be together. I wanna love you through the night, we'll be a sweet disaster."
Again, they all joined for the chorus, even more enthusiastically this time:
"I don't believe in fairytales (no, no, no)
I don't believe in fairytales (no, no, no)
I don't believe in fairytales
But I believe in you and me
Take me to Wonderland
Take me to, take me to, take me to Wonderland
Take me to, take me to, take me to Wonderland
Take me to, take me to, take me to Wonderland, Wonderland, Wonderland."
They continued with the bridge, their voices softening:
"Wonderland, ooh-whoa-oh-oh
Ho-oh-oh
Ooh-whoa-oh-oh
I believe in you and me."
The final chorus was their most powerful performance yet, with everyone adding their own harmonies and flourishes:
"I don't believe in fairytales (no, no, no)
I don't believe in fairytales (no, no, no)
I don't believe in fairytales
But I believe in you and me
Take me to Wonderland
Take me to, take me to, take me to Wonderland
Take me to, take me to, take me to Wonderland
Take me to, take me to, take me to
I believe in you and me
Wonderland
Take me to, take me to, take me to Wonderland
Take me to, take me to, take me to Wonderland
Take me to, take me to, take me to Wonderland
Take me to Wonderland
Take me to Wonderland."
As they finished the last note, they heard applause from the doorway. They turned to see Ben, Carlos, Jay, Harry, Doug, Gil, and Chad standing there, all smiling.
"How long have you been there?" Mal asked, blushing slightly.
"Long enough to enjoy the show." Ben said, his eyes twinkling as he looked at Haden. "I especially enjoyed watching my boyfriend singing."
Haden's face turned pink, but he couldn't help grinning. The other boys laughed good-naturedly as they entered the room, Carlos grabbing a handful of popcorn and Harry and Gil plopping down next to Uma.
"Well, since the party's here now." Carlos said, "What's next on the sleepover agenda?"
The girls exchanged looks before breaking into laughter. "I guess it's not just a girls' sleepover anymore." Evie said, passing around the nail polish.
As the night continued with more singing, games, and snacks, Haden caught Ben's eye across the room and smiled. Sometimes the best fairytales are the ones you write yourself.
THEY KNOW WHERE HOME IS!!! 😜
they're pushing the ben/chad agenda yes they told me themselves
