I wonder if every time Daniel travels to an alternate timeline/dimension he briefly wonders if Sha're is alive. If she's out there somewhere because he wasn't around to help overthrow Ra, so Apophis never kidnapped her. If it keeps him up at night that if he never figured out how the Stargate works, she would still be alive. That she wouldn't be freed from Ra, but she'd be alive. That he's probably travelled to a time/place where she was alive, and he never saw her
