So. One thing. did I fucking Apollo ball it jesus. Is it anything that I literally drew the four people whose friendship got absolutely obliterated this episode. Their dynamics went from one to a hundred reaaal quick holy hell. Talking about Vania, Ginger, Sam and Sockher. Also Camilla too but I haven't drawn her....this is a sign. Also Sam as in Samuel Bailey. Speaking of AAAUUUYRGEGRFGRHRGFEGE FREE HIM HE IS SO TRAUMATIZED.... I'm joking keep him going through the horrors. Make him worse. Inside me there are two wolves clearly. RIGHT THOUGH. ABOUT THESE DYNAMICS. WHACK ME OVER THE HEAD WITH A CLEAVER.
Let's cover a bit of the lore I'll be yapping on. In Ep3, we find out that Vania and Ginger are sisters with Ginger running away from home when Vania was like 3-4 years old. And now finding out that their parents got worse and shittier to Vania they are very bonded sisters ♥️ honestly I didn't even notice this it came out of nowhere well kinda. Vania's comment on Ginger looking like her mom was a hint... I was honestly flabbergasted at that tbh I was. Head in hands, jaw to floor, freddy fazbear at the side. The offers to kill her parents are so deserved. LIKE YESSIR ADD ME TO THE CAVALRY‼️🫡 so, If Vania needs help, she can ask Ginger! Her reliable older sister! Who feels guilty because she left without Vania and she could've left with her or helped her later to avoid Benedict the asshat thiswasevilthiswasevilthiswassoevil
So, sisterly bond aside, let's talk about this authentic idiot vampire duo! Vania and Sam. Hoooooo boooiiyyyhh. They were such close friends they were but then the turning happened and now they're in deep shiiitt.......I can feel their friendship straining every mistake Sam makes... Not to mention, Zarem did say when they talked to Sam that he asked if he could trust Vania and Zarem said yes because it's not good to be alone. So. Sam did want to distrust Vania but didn't. We can see he stuck to that...WHAT WAS THAT TURNING lords the reasoning for it just. Sam you wanted Cammy to trust you BUT when she posed a threat to Vania it's immediately okay let's frame it for Keeler's turning. Hooly. Something to add real quick.
On part 2 of ep3 of Vania's POV around 1 hour and 6 mins in we got this right. Right. This is when Zarem says "I will do anything to get back to my fucking sister." (ATE QUEEN AAAATE EAT EVEN SLAYYYYY) But yes at this point.
Vania stands next to her sister, fellow fan Aspen pointed that out shout out 🫡 (if you're reading hi jumpscare ooo) but something that obviously, I, a member of the Samuel Bailey religion, would notice. SAM. SAM IS STANDING ALONE. Made me think right. Made me think. If it came to it, Vania would probably choose Ginger over Sam. Sam is feeling more like a responsibility to Vania than a friend... And that is so heartbreaking to me. Dude. Get a friend that cares for your well-being and mental health that isn't a hazardous idiot themselves (no offense Vania, big love infact because I wouldn't get peak without that XD) honestly I'm hoping Zarem and Ginger help that poor man but knowing how Zarem would probably turn on the sire vampires (that's going to be end of me lads) and Ginger would probably... Know better but feel bad about it... If not then I think she'd start to doubt Vania too, depends on if she knows Vania is lying again and doesn't trust her as much after Vania literally told her to not. I'm hoping man I'm holding out hope... Sockher I don't know how you'd feel but I hope you can probably bring him to his diddly darn senses cause I see no one else who could rn

The whole. the very. The calm rage in this. Like okay so. I gave you a chance to explain yourself and instead of doing that you made me have to ask directly. And now you tell me that you killed and drank the blood of my friend because you were really hungry and you thought you wouldn't face consequences for your actions. and you expect me to stand there and do nothing about it. God the trust just fell so so apart.
Also the detective ever 🫡 Raymond truth nuked, you were alone with someone who trusted you and you took advantage of that—why? If the animals were enough to feed you, why would you do that? I actually drop dead I think I actually die today oh would you look at that! it's die o'clock. And Vania knows btw let's give her the credit. She's said to others but she's acknowledged that she's not someone to trust and that she's a bad person. She knows! But what else is she really supposed to do when she's trying to look out for herself? Work with the humans to come to a peaceful solution? The humans that include the people who hunt vampires and will continue to doubt how safe she is? Maybe things would've been better if she didn't attack Sam but she did and the consequences are catching up BADLY.
And the back and forth with Sockher and Ginger.... The Titans are clashing again 🙏 good lord. If you're wondering about it, here it is. Orange-Red text is Ginger and Green text is Sockher, off my memory.
Ginger attempting to defend Vania by saying the town needs to find a way to work with it or around it (it being Vania turning Sam) and Sockher just going straight for it like "no yeah she JUST avoided telling us everything until I directly asked her to tell us about what happened with Sam." yeesh. Also sarcastic Sockher. We love to see him. In the earlier screenshot to Clover hiding how he was talking about Sam I mean.
Pretty sure around this time Vania is behind the grass and Clover just broke it while making direct eye contact. LIKE YIKES I FELT THAT. NOT TO MENTION LIKE LITERALLY ALMOST THE ENTIRE TOWN STARING AT HER. LOOKING FOR AN EXPLANATION. OHHH chills is there an episode where I DON'T GET CHILLS?? LORD HAVE MERCY. Don't actually. I do really need to see how Sam explained how he got turned I really do. Like oh yeah my first friend and roomie after getting here asked if I trusted her and lured me into a dark cellar attacked me with a stone sword until I died and drank my blood because she was a hungry vampire. In this interaction when Vania says "He still trusts me somehow" Raymond does say "I know" in response. Crazy. Wonder how horrified Camilla, Raymond and Clover looked. This is how I looked.
Bluemojis are great. LMAOO but yeah... Ginger, Vania's sister, is trying her best to defend and put her faith into Vania who herself has said that she's not trustworthy and she's a bad person. Samuel, Vania's roommate and friend who is slowly drifting from that title to being Responsibility (atleast to me) is doing anything and everything possible to keep Vania safe even if it means hurting and lying more. (I just KNOW Sam says smth like "it had to happen" it'll happen trust.) Vania, a noble who was forcefully turned into a vampire by a man she didn't want to marry. Now, she's forcefully turned her friend into one and lied to a town that wanted to trust and accommodate to her who have now mostly turned on her after what she did was revealed. Sockher, a friend to most of town who has kind of taken on a mayor role (I'm not sure if that got set in stone or not), who trusted Sam and helped him stay sane at points, has seen Vania admit to killing and drinking his blood because Sam trusted Vania enough to be out deep in the woods alone with her but that was only after Sockher gave her a chance to explain that out of her own accord. I think Vania would've 100% avoided that if she could and Sockher knew that.
Trust has been BETRAYED. Keeping yourself and the people you trust safe has become the priority. AND TENSION IS ON THE RIIIISEE LETS GOOOOO I need to get into sesh 4 but I'll stay in my enclosure.... Helloooo folks and fellas of those who know and those who don't BECAUSE I'm yapping Sampires Frostvein about the new EP. Specifically things from Vania's POV because I'm gonna have to yap about the things going on over at pathetic wet cat view (Samuel Bailey) on a diff post! Whole other thing all of that... Sooo as per usual underneath the cut will have SPOILERS for Vania's POV of Ep 1-5 and I will be talking about only the characters without using the sfv! prefix. (1.4k+ words below for those who wish to know LOL)
Now here in a few minutes in, we find that Vania gave up on searching for Sam and stayed with Zarem and Ginger and built a house by the greenhouse. Like I also said then, Vania was low-key getting tired of Sam getting out of control constantly and yes honestly valid keeping that man under control is like keeping a fish outta water, that's why we keep fish in birdcages. (reference intended) BUT SAM DO BE RIGHT LIKE I SAID. Samuel is out here doing all he can to keep Vania safe and projecting Ruby onto her (lord do I have to talk about Vania and Ruby parallels over on the Sam post) WHILE Vania has a better opinion on Ginger and would rather pick her over him because that's her actual sister that she trusts and Sam was too volatile for Vania to completely trust or rely on at all when he himself was a WRECK but on that topic, HE BECAME THAT WRECK OF A MESS OF A MAN BECAUSE OF VANIA. Like sure he came into town traumatized but Vania was the one he trusted most and then got trapped and turned by forcefully AFTER FINDING A TOWN AND COMMUNITY HE WAS HAPPY WITH. WHAT THE EVER! SO YES. VALID CRASH OUT SAMUEL BAILEY. BUT AT THE SAME TIME. DON'T LET THE BLAME ON ENDRIC FALL ONTO MY GIRL. VANIA HAD NO PART IN THE TURNING OF KEELER NOR DID SHE ASK TO BE A SECOND RUBY BAILEY. YOU COULDA FOUND SOMEONE WHO WANTED VAMPIRISM BUT YOU FORCE TURNED THE POOR LITTLE KEELER And oh Keeler is great love Keeler laugh Keeler live Keeler pls 🙏🙏 the absolute hoops I have to jump through to explanation is great. Also to be fair man. Vania did tell Sam to not kill or turn anyone. So Keeler's turning? Not her fault or part. Sam being turned? Yeah so yeah that yeah happened yeah.
Thisss thisss ohhh this this lovely series YIIIIKEEEEESSSS WHAT WAS THAAATTT DID YOU HAVE TO START OFF BY PELTING US WITH BRICKS THAT'S PSYCHOTIC. THATS HELLISH. OOOOWWWWWWW 😢😢😢💔 💔 On the other hand. On my last Vania Nightshade post. I WAS RIIIIGHHHTT I WAS RIGHT?!? I WAS RIGHT AND MY POOR SAMUEL HAS REALIZED?!?! OOOFFFD OURRGHG yes yes. That's such a something. It is so. So last post I was on about Vania's relationships and how different people took to reacting to her turning Sam. Sockher was on the offense on that one. Sockher absolutely clocked her for running away and hiding and doing what she needs to survive while Ginger defended Vania for being her sister and not knowing any better (not being able to control herself, etc etc) and Samuel, the victim, justified Vania's actions because he was happy with the result of being a vampire... At The Time.
AND AGAIN. SHOUTING AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS. VANIIIIAAAAAHHHH WHY DO YOU ALMOST ALWAYS JUST REPLY TO CONFRONTATION AS "Yes, I am evil and bad in every way that you think of me as." VAAAANIAAAA DEFEND YOURSELF MORE. I did yap about this to a good good good friend of mine who hasn't really seen Sampires Frostvein but I've been yapping away about it XD it was. Like two hours of Sampires Frostvein talking I think? Over Vania and the oh so evil consequences catching up to her. I talked about what she did to Sam and my good buddy pal chum pointed out how that was similar to what Benedict did to her iirc and like COOK MY GUY COOOKKK BECAUSE YEAH. THAT WAS POINTED OUT. AND ALL MY GIRL DID IS SAY YEAH YOURE RIGHT!!! Now that I really think about it really is almost every time just "yes I am a monster yes I did to that and it's bad." ITS LIKE. Vania just shuts down and agrees until it's over. And it's joever because I'm realizing that might be a coping mechanism she started using way back with her parents to keep up appearances and deal with them... Also personally don't think she's exactly like Benedict but the outlines do match in the forcefully turning someone you like but the like is in a very different sense here....
I defo think Endric did just have a failed working theory but since he's a researcher I doubt he's gonna stop researching both the fungus and the blizzard wall so he's just gonna use the vampires who are willing to work for him to help him with that and survive in the meanwhile too. My thoughts is a that Endric never had good intentions just an agreeable outcome but when that was debunked and the outcome changed to something more unpleasant, it didn't really matter to him or atleast what he would do. It's to keep researching. So yeah really shouldn't have trusted that evil and intimidating bald horse, Vania. LMAO
AND SO. WE BACK WITH ABOUT VANIA. HER PARENTS AND BENEDICT. FUUUUUCKING KNEEWWW IT LETS GO GIRLLLLL The only way she'd know if her parents and Benedict were confirmed dead is if she did it herself and the way she just talked about it like I could TELL girl did a rampage after that but I honestly thought she did that right after being turned I didn't expect her to just get grounded and stay up overnight undead and slowly growing more hungry and psychotic and killing her parents and Benedict with a knife like DAMN. ATEEEE GIRL ATEEE she did ate actually she said she tasted human blood for the first time there. TBF it was us saying that she was like Benedict, it was Sam saying that she was like her parents when Vania told Sam he could trust Endric which does work better but it was Endric in the end who told them what they could do to leave hypothetically... Reminds me. Anne. ANNEEEE OH ANNE. Another one sworn loyal who was let down. It feels like both Sam and Anne got someone to relate to more here. Which reminds me I need to talk about whatever the hell happened with Soven there.
So. Soven was forcefully turned by Mina to keep quiet about the fungus lab thingamajig and that oh. OH. Soven.... So so traumatized Soven.... But moreover Vania is so. Darned. Damned. Doomed. Maybe doing better though kinda. Now that Sam has fully brought to light /ref lol everything wrong Vania did with turning Sam forcefully, seeing Soven turned forcefully and having to live with it is bringing back memories of both herself and Sam too prolly. The whole time they were talking is really giving a "I don't want to mess up this time" and it's hitting me hard man it really is what the freak dudes. Like the conversation between them really reminded me of Sam and Vania talking after Sam got turned. Not right after because that's just Sam freaking out and Vania apologizing I'm talking like after Sam meets Endric as a vampire. Finding similarities like Sam and Vania both being stuck in one place without any close friends or family and finally breaking free of that and finding eachother as their first friend out of that. Now it's how Soven and Vania both killed three people before coming to Frostvein and both of them not wanting to be a murderous monster again and unsure if they deserve to live free as a human knowing what they've done.
So glad Vania has Ginger and Zarem though. It's given her purpose, like she said. To cure not only herself but the others and get out of here even if she feels like she doesn't deserve it. Raymond did clock the hell out of Vania and made her confess to all she did before AND accept death- btw I was so shook and panic then like VANIAAAA VANIA NOOO DON'T LEAVE ME VANIA NIGHTSHADE 😭😭💔💔💔 but thank lords she's alive hallelujah (I'm not even religious. Ok I lied. I am towards characters. Like Samuel Bailey and Vania Nightshade. Ok fine mostly to Jackalope MILGRAM but he's way off topic.) need to get the council together to discuss trio and duo names I think it'll be fun... Tho. Speaking of trios I found the Stallbu house joke very funny LMAOO a human, a vampire and a werewolf walk into a bar.... SPEAKING OF. CRAZY REVELATION. LETS FUCKING GO WEREWOLVES!!! This gives me more reason to draw Annbjørg. It IS actually criminal there's no art that of which I can find. Let's go gang we stay winning. Annbjørg did attack Sam after Sam attacked Endric from what we heard from Clover... Endric also commented that Annbjørg would like the skulls from the weird underground place which is crazy...
