[Blog Update]
Hello everyone! Today, in an effort to put forth the idea of broadening the blog, I have indoctrinated enlisted Steven, a.k.a Sfasato as a blog admin. I'll make him introduce himself later, but he works Ground Service at an airport in the Western US. The content is gonna be the same for the most part, except in addition to my own posts, you'll see some from him as well. Also! To anyone else who works Ground Service, please feel free to submit posts!
Sfasato: Got to work today, and couldn't get on-field because the rental car companies had completely parked the gate in with their extra cars... how does that even work? What makes you see a gate and think: "oh! Look at all that free space to park 5 cars!"? This is why we have a separate parking lot for them! Funnily enough, it's the same parking lot where the tenants of the other half of the building try to park. It makes key fobs much more useful when you can repeatedly click the lock button to locate a single rental car among a sea of rentals, and owned cars.
Visiting Pilot: Man it’s hard to get on the VASI glideslope with such a high pattern altitude here. Resident Instructor: High pattern altitude? Visiting Pilot: Yeah, you know. 4000 feet.
