Il film vede alla regia il prolifico regista norvegese Henrik M. Dahlsbakken (Project Z, An Affair) e per certi versi ricorda alcuni film degli anni ’80 come Poltergeist – Demoniache presenze (1982) e Amityville 3D (1983) per il terreno maledetto intorno a cui ruota la vicenda.
Trama:
dopo diversi anni come missionario in Madagascar, un pastore torna a casa dalla sua famiglia in Norvegia per fondare una congregazione. Con l’aiuto di una compagnia mineraria locale, l’uomo inizia i lavori di costruzione di una chiesa, scoprendo che il terreno scelto per far erigere la struttura non è altro che un vecchio cimitero dei Sami del Sud. Quando il religioso farà rimuovere i resti, un male indefinibile inizierà a perseguitare i coloni.
