#sewing practice

My first attempt at making a dog plush head (minus the ears and eyes)!

I really messed up a lot on some parts (like how you can see the stitches or how the nose is crooked) but I have been learning a lot!!!

I'm just using some cheap fabric I got at the thrift store, and a needle/thread that I've had forever.

I know I have to mirror ALL my pattern pieces now, or else the design will be wrong. I also know that you have to like ?? pinch the fabric together or else the stitches will show.

I'm really proud of myself for this! The last time I tried making a plushie was in 2019 and it ended with me being hospitalized LMAO.

First prototype for a pouch! It's a bit shorter than I'd like, but I can fix that in the next one I make.

So I discovered EPIC: The Musical. I may need help. And therapy for some parts (Cyclops saga I'm looking very specifically at you)

But if we just side-step that for the time being...God Damn I love EPIC. It's so awesome, and the songs are freaking amazing; not to mention the animatics (shout-out to Gigi, whose animatics I for the life of me adore).

Anyway, what I was getting to was that I also recently learnt to sew; and since I have rewatched "Open Arms" five million times, welp, this happened:

I made my own lil Lotus Eater <3 (/Winion, I think)

I know he's a little scrappy and that the stitches aren't great; but this is like the third thing I've sewed together in my life, so I'm insanely proud of it :)

And yes, that is Polites' headband. No I will not apologize (still not over that , btw. Probs will never be)

Practice flightsuit is coming along 🥰
