The new tour of the Brilliant original production of the Phantom of the OperaÂ
Turns out to be a not the brilliant original production after all. Major changes have been made and Operafantomet’s post sums up my thoughts in great detail (mind reading magic?):Â
 https://operafantomet.tumblr.com/post/190399275372/ok-i-had-a-minor-rant-about-this-in-private-but.
But all that aside, the details on the model, and the craftmanship is AMAZING!
I’m pretty sure the boxes will slide on, and the top part of the proscenium which lines up with them will fly in. The chandelier looks nice. I’m not sure if I will miss the rising of it. The shattered effect on the proscenium is cool enough. The Garnier front curtain I do not like at all. And all of that really does not matter because: It is not the promised Original!
Sneak peak at my next project -- going a lot bigger and more detailed.

Spookyhaus Art Co-op
Thought I'd share this little diorama I made! It's a house in San Francisco. This one sold but I'm working on another even more complicated one! Check out the SpookyHaus Art Co-op for other cool stuff in the meantime.

Don Juan Triumphant in 1:25 scale from The Phantom of the Opera
The last mock-opera in the show with two painted drops that are very dark in color and dimly lit. When I started out building the model years ago there were no pictures to be found. Nowadays you can find pictures but usually they are quite dark so the second drop is often not visible.
