New little practice piece because Im trying to again get back into daily-almost daily crocheting and not just once a week!! (Im thinking how to give it a nice rainbowy layer underneath to make it look like another stained glass project? I may just crochet a circular coaster and sew both together)
(1st picture is before 2nd is after!)
I listened to advices I found online and ironed my first best coaster(?) serviette thing I crocheted before easter and...I dont know what to think about it personally! The main con is that it DOES feel and appear FLAT (duh? You iron it) but pros are that it ABSOLLUUTTELLYY keeps shape (even if you throw it or something), its not as stiff as you could think it would be and feels softer to touch. I tried it with few other projects of mine and this one turned out the best (I do however regret ironing a beanie/hat I crocheted for a DMMD Noiz cosplay. Absolutely dont iron hats), it also worked somewhat nicely on my granny squares. Overall I definitely would recommend trying it out on pieces that are 100% supposed to be flat like coasters, serviettes or squares of any type!! (Also yes i know of the little mistakes i made in this piece!! Im still a somewhat beginner crocheter :p)
