If wondering what the hell is going on and don't want to view the post Ill try to explain it as best as I can

So apparently YouTube is trying as in a way to protect children (bullsh1t) they're trying to make a law which that is using ai to determine/guess your age

So basically if your watching content that isn't part of your "age group" ai would think that your child and in a way to prove your not a child you have to send them ID or credit card to prove that your not a minor

So a couple of things that I think thats so bs

Number 1: this is invasion to privacy because most us adults/teens aren't comfortable with sharing ID/Credit card info and the fact that you have to use it to prove the ai that your not a minor is so stupid and bs not only that sharing it can be an extreme risk

Like at this point I would rather have my mom view my watch history then some shitty ai

Number 2: this is bad for people who are youtubers/just viewers who are minors because not only will YouTube censor the content that's restricted but THEY WON'T COUNT YOU AS A VIEWER WHICH IS BAD ON ITSELF FOR NOT JUST VIEWERS BUT YOUTUBERS AS WELL because most popular youtubers like KreekCraft, Thinknoodles heck even others because either half le MOST of their subscribers are minors and that's bad because YouTube is doing this without know the consequences and impact this can do to their website if this goes through

This is only happening to kids in America and its launching on August 13 or 14 depending on time zones

PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD WE CANNOT LET YOUTUBE MAKE THIS A LAW

So I've been put down as Urgent for CAMHS (Children and mental health services) doctor wrote down that my mental state is in a very alarming state and that I might/probably will get put on medication.

I haven't been to school in weeks, I only went in for three days and now they're asking if they can help in any way and why I'm struggling to go in. I'm honestly tired of explaining my mental state to more people I don't fully trust or feel comfortable with but what choice do I have really?

I'm in a messy place right now, my mental state is rocky and I'm struggling to stay in reality my mind always wandering off into a fantasy land and dissociating.

I completely stand with anyone fighting for women’s rights and equality. I completely stand with anyone who treats girl’s problems seriously. I completely stand with anyone who makes girls feel like they aren’t lower than males — but it’s still a big issue that boy’s feelings aren’t taken seriously. It’s still a big issue that you would worry and care for a girl more than a boy feeling the same feelings. It’s not okay to treat a girl’s problem as a bigger issue and just shove aside a boy’s problem and think, “oh, he’s fine, he’ll get over it.”
