The details of Albus Potter’s attack will be more clear, with the majority of rumours fading away, being replaced by genuine facts. His list of injuries and a brief retelling of the action will have featured in the Daily Prophet a few days after the event. Albus Potter’s injuries include: shrapnel damage to his upper back, specifically his right shoulder. Spell damage to his right arm, lungs, and chest.

This graffiti and break in happened exactly seven days after Albus Potter’s attack.

Harry Potter is seeming increasingly flustered but is determined to continue with the department merge. He is refusing to talk to any press, as are the rest of his family.

In the early hours of the morning, the store Teddy Lupin lives above (and is currently employed by) was damaged and vandalised. The word ‘Half-Breed’ was graffitied in paint that is proving impossible to remove or cover. Anybody walking by will be able to see it.

Teddy’s apartment was also broken into. Your muse will only know the vague details listed above in the article unless Teddy chooses to actively confide in them.

That being said, if your muse is a Death Eater they will know the break in/vandalism was carried out by Death Eaters who were over eager after the attack on Albus. They were not working under the orders of Grindelwald but being reckless and excitable. They are facing heavy punishment which will be common knowledge among the ranks.

Teddy was sleeping elsewhere. Only Teddy knows where he was spending the night, and this information will only be available to whoever he chooses to tell.

The vandalism, and subsequent break in, was discovered by shop owners as they began to open their stores. The crimes were immediately reported to the Ministry and Ministry workers hurried to close off the scene. By 8 AM there was a heavy Auror presence though nothing of importance was found. After three hours, they began to clean up and re open the part of the street that had been closed to the public. This means that by 11 AM, anybody was able to see the graffiti, though the windows had been repaired by this time and any evidence of a break in had been vanished.

The salon was closed for the day of the incident but opened as usual the following day.

WHAT YOUR MUSE KNOWS:

Harry Potter has been working on creating a new system that connects the Metropolitan Police to the Auror and Magical Law Departments, anticipating a spike in Muggle related Hate Crime. When this collaboration takes place, Harry, and the Head of Magical Law, will work very closely beside a handful of carefully selected Muggle Police Officials to monitor crime. This will make it easier to spot crimes potentially committed by Wizards, but also follow patterns that lead to the arrest of Death Eaters.

This is common knowledge, often mentioned in the Daily Prophet and gossip magazines. A lot of traditional wizarding families, not all of them necessarily blood purists, think it is dangerous to become too entangled in the Muggle world. Others believe it is outright idiotic, and somewhat disgusting, to ally magical folk with Muggles. Some families believe the Wizarding World needs to communicate more openly with the Muggle world and that working alongside Muggle officials will lead to safer environments, less of a divide, and a healthier relationship with Muggleborns, Squibs, and Muggles themselves. It is entirely up to you how your muse and their family feel about this issue.

Harry Potter, along with every member of the Auror and Magical Law departments received a copy of the letter above. It is unknown who handed their letter over to the press but it has been printed on the front page of the Daily Prophet and everybody has been able to read it. If you don’t think your muse reads the Prophet or you would like to write them hearing about it for the first time in a thread, that is entirely up to you.

Death Eaters will have been aware of this plan, Dolohov wrote the letter under Grindlewald’s instruction and alerted his Death Eaters a week before the letters were sent. Your muse will only have known this if they are aligned with the Death Eaters. If you have a Death Eater muse and you would like them to have been in charge of delivering the letters or discovering where each of Harry’s children live (most likely by following and tracking them) please message the Main!

Harry Potter, Ginny Potter, and the Potter children have all been approached by the press for comment but so far have refused to cooperate. No statements have been given. The Ministry is working to look into the letters, though they seem to be impossible to trace.

Harry Potter’s letter was left on the doorstep of his home, but if your muse works in the Department of Magical Law, or the Auror Department, they would have found copies of the letter either on their desk, posted to their in-tray, or delivered to them by anonymous Owl. It is entirely up to you how your muse received their letter and what they did with their copy. Harry Potter has placed his children under the observation of the most skilled and trusted Aurors in his team. He did so without his children being aware, and they will be monitored secretly unless they discover they are being watched.
