Not just that Firefly was cancelled too soon, or that we only got the one mmovie, because that on its own was a sort of miracle.
No, it’s that FOX always does that shit.
Firefly, Dollhouse, Almost Human, EVERYTHING SciFi that was even a hint of genius or good, and BAM, down comes the corporate banhammer.
I was worried for Backstrom, which is frankly fucking brilliant, but my husband reminded me that since it’s NOT SciFi, FOX might let it live.
Hopefully.
In the meantime, I rage at the loss of wonderful programming in the scifi genre, and wonder how it is FOX stays in business with decisions like that.
Then I remember that they have Family Guy and Glee, and suddenly I know.
