There was something toohonest and almost P A I N F U L about the very statement as the realisation ofit sank into the depths of Bruce’s skull. An unfortunate aspect of being a ‘hero’ was alwayshaving to save someone or something from jeopardy; and each time the riskseemed to be something bigger and something so much more W O R S E.
“You sound almost surprised by the realisation, Clint—“Bruce commented a little absently as he lifted a hand from his forehead andrubbed restlessly at his right brow, pushing the fine hairs from place. Hisexpression was bitten into something tense as he continued to stare down at thetablet screen he had been working on. The pen had however stilled and theequation was long forgotten.

They knew this hotel and they had this one room, they always use, cause they both stole the keys for the room. Getting out the key she opened the door and smiled.
