     sometimes, she truly doesn’t mind ---- doesn’t mind that the other is always high off something, always out of the house, always busy with people that aren’t her. sometimes, it makes her want to rip her hair out. she’s tried to let it happen; if she doesn’t nag, they genuinely want to be around her, right? the logic is there, but it doesn’t convince her from bickering whenever she gets the chance. ‘ will you just stay here for once? christ’s sake, we’re on vacation. you can go fuck ‘round with your hoes any time after we go home. ’ of course, she’s testing them, a glare on her face. ‘ you’ve got me right here, you fuckin’ asshole. ’

it was a long haul flight, so naturally she was tired. even with flying business class she didn’t get much sleep on the flight from europe to the states which must have taken at least eight hours. in addition to being exhausted, katia had spent over a month back home. this meant she hadn’t used english in over five weeks. the combination of jet lag and jumble of languages in her head was bound to cause a problem as she picked up what she suspected to be her luggage in baggage claim.
