Alec was surprisingly comfortable when he woke despite the odd position. One leg was slung over the back of the couch, arm dangling over the edge where someone, likely him, had spilled the quiver that hadnât been put away. There was hair in his face that wasnât his, an elbow in his right hip and quiet snoring. It took him a moment to get blurry eyes to focus, distinguish colors and see that it was his parabatai who had one of the boniest parts of the human body jabbed into his leg. He didnât remember which one of them had fallen asleep first, only that it had likely dragged the other under. It was nice though, to not have anything bad coming through their bond, only the peacefulness that came after a good nightâs sleep. Probably the first either of them had had in a while. But Jace was on top of him and the warm weight was gradually getting uncomfortable with the arm trapped between them going numb.  âHey-bro, wake up. I donât have any feeling in the arm that I need to keep your ass from dying.âÂ
