**Edit: At this time I won't be releasing her name or any details. I don't want to send unwanted attention her way. She's stressed out as it is, and I want to be respectful of her.
A good family friend and woman of color was contacted by the local police department for reasons unknown, and was told that they would like to speak to her.
She's been very vocal and critical of the police, our justice system, and has been absolutely supportive of the protests surrounding the murder of George Floyd on her social media.
It's premature to say with any certainty that she might be in trouble, but in the next few days, depending on how things go, I might be posting a slew of screenshots of posts and conversations she's made and had with my mother.
I do not want her voice to be silenced or suppressed, especially when it is well within her right to speak out against injustice.
If it comes down to that, I will need your support. I hope it won't come to that. I hope this is an overreaction to an innocent situation, but I honestly won't take that risk.

Second argument of the day is telling a 40 year old he has no business trying to aggressively educate my 17 year old sister by telling her that the protestors are terrorists who deserve to be arrested and that her friends are dumb asses.

Online harassment is and always will be the mark of cowards. Sending disturbing photos, death threats, and the like is disgusting, but considering that this is a trend from 4chan, I'm not really surprised.
I've personally never been affected by any attempts at Pridefall in the past and have seldom heard of it outside of warnings, and I don't believe things will be much different for me this time around.
That said, it's not something I take lightly either. There are a lot of gentle people out there who are bound to be hurt detrimentally by such things and, on behalf of them and the potential threat it poses to their health, it infuriates me.
I just want folks to be safe, man. Even if nothing comes of it, I just want folks to be safe.
