Semiomime - Six Steps
Take a few minutes and listen to this work of art. I think I found new love. This is still DJ Hidden (Who is also 50% of The Outside Agency whom I often post), but it’s more chill, far more chill. It’s ambient and melodic with a beautiful atmosphere that Hidden is always able to create.
If crazy distorted kicks aren’t your thing, then check this out! Absolutely amazing. This I think fits somewhere in the experimental range of downtempo DnB.
If you’re wondering about the name:
Semiotics - is the study of meaning-making, the philosophical theory of signs and symbols.
Mime - The theatrical technique of suggesting action, character or emotion without words using only gesture expression and movement.
Semiomime - Making sense of the unknown realm and acting it out.
Semiomime, the calmer project by @dj_hidden, starts a new podcast series today, which will end with a second album this Winter.
