I am here because there is no refuge

Finally from myself

Until I confront myself in the eyes and hearts of others

I am running

Until I suffer them to share my secrets

I have no safety from them

Afraid to be known

I can know neither myself nor any other

I WILL BE ALONE!

Where else but in our common ground can I find such a mirror?

Here, together, I can at last appear clearly to myself

Not as a giant of my dreams, nor the dwarf of my fears

But as a person, part of the whole

With my share in its purpose

IN THIS GROUND! I can take root and grow

Not alone any more as in death

in june of 2024 i started therapy (for the millionth time in my life) and then in november of 2024 i got diagnosed with adhd and was able to start medication that actually helped me be able to start a truly healing journey

along this journey i have gotten in touch with my younger self so much and learned that while she was a very broken and hurting girl, she was a lot braver than me in a lot respects. i have a lot to teach her but i also have a lot to learn from her

capitalism hadn't beaten her into an acceptable form of submission yet. but we always have the opportunity to come back and do better. i can't heal without her. she can't heal without me. we are the same person, just separated by years and decades of shared and diverged trauma. we will get through this
