This makes me feel a lot of things in no small part because over the last few weeks I have been to Rohan, stood on Edoras, and led the Rohirrim's charge to Gondor at the Pelennor Fields. Yes, I had a stick horse, but I'm telling you it was one of the most inspirational, awesome moments I have ever experienced.

BUT. He's threatening a bunch of adventurers who he KNOWS have taken down the undead general leading the invasion force towards the Gate, AND he's telling that same group that he's going to try and imprison the favoured daughter of one of the most powerful gods in the world. Truly the dumbest motherfucker in all the realms

I'm assuming this was meant to be a response to the "Reverse Unpopular Opinion Meme" I reblogged. I think the intention there was that you send me a thing and *I* ramble about what I like about that thing, but I am also happy to receive other people's rambles as well. XD

Or maybe you just felt like dropping some Lorroakan thoughts on me, which is also perfectly welcome. XD

Agreed, though. Lorroakan absolutely made his own bed for literally no other reason than that he thought he couldn't possibly get shot down, and paid the price. Textbook definition of "hubris"; there's a picture of him next to the word in the dictionary.

If I could turn any game into a movie, what would it be?

Oooooh. I used to be way into questions like this, but the quest for video games to be validated as serious art is a cause for the young and innocent. I’m past my prime in that department.

That being said... maybe it’s because I’m partial but I think Bloodborne would make a fantastic flick. Give it some brief, vague exposition up top, have our main character be a stranger to the city but join the hunt in an effort to escape the city/cure their terminal disease with blood ministration. Have that be a ticking clock for them, and make that their journey. There’s even characters you could include; Eileen would be your big co-star, I think. There’s also the Doll and Gehrman, but potentially Alfred as well -- we could throw in the Vilebloods as a sub-faction our hero must defeat. Maybe mix them with the Choir and Micolash and have them trying to bring about The One Reborn, or raise Ebrietas to harness Her powers. Our hero discovers the true nature of the beastly disease and the old blood and the city of Yharnam, has a bunch of big and bloody monster fights, and close with a personal duel between our protagonist and Gehrman. End ambiguously, of course.
